Extreme LED
I got the C4 low pro and the x6s 30” slim amber/white. I’ll install it after getting the powercoat done.
I’ll update once installed. But I’m debating if I should get the 38” for my gobi rack. Does anyone know if this 40” light bar will fit the gobi rack ?

Anyone else with moisture in ExtremeLED light bar?
I've owned an Extreme LED X6 (38" w/ amber on the sides) for about 2 years. It has been mounted on my Victory 4x4 rood rack w/ light bar cutout for a little over one year. After about 3 months on the truck I noticed water inside the light bar, behind the lenses. This was not just condensation, but actual standing water accumulated at the bottom of the lights. I reached out to ELED customer support and told them that the light bar works fine, but I was concerned about how much water was inside the housing. They asked me to send pictures (I posted one below) and upon receiving the images, they sent me a return shipping label so that I could get the light bar repaired or replaced under their lifetime warranty.
Long story short, they currently have my lightbar (with the water in it) and customer service emails me to say that it's perfectly normal to have water inside the lightbar and since they can't re-create my issue, they will send it back to me as-is and charge me shipping both ways. what?!?
My ONLY issue was the water inside the light bar and they instructed me to send it to them for "inspection." If having water inside your light bar is normal, why would they have me send it in and then charging me for round trip shipping?
Does anyone else have experience with a similar issue? Is it "normal" for your light bar to be waterlogged? I've never seen a lightbar that looks like mine does anywhere online.

What was the outcome of this?? I was considering a bar from them, but not if they are telling people it is normal to have water in the bar. Especially when their website states: "IP68 rating to keep dust and water out"

Wiz,
ExtremeLED indicated that the light bar was designed with "breather" openings and that condensation is normal inside the housing. They indicated that using the light bar would likely evaporate the water. I hardly ever turn my light bar on, so I always can see condensation behind the lenses. The lights still function as indicated, so ExtremeLED just sent it back to me (after quite a bit of haggling to get them to pay for shipping). It doesn't make any sense to me that they insisted I send them my light bar for inspection and possible service/replacement if moisture inside the light bar was "normal" for their products.
I've never driven my Runner into a lake and submerged the light bar completely.... It just sits on my driveway and gets rained on from time to time, but an IP65 rating is defined as being able to completely submerge at a depth of 1.5meters for 30 minutes without any water ingress. I'm going to have to call BS on that claim, particularly if it is designed with "breather" holes.
I've had this light bar mounted on my truck for about 1.5 years now. I first noticed the condensation after about 3 months. After removing the light bar to send it back, I noticed a lot of oxidation and spots where the black finish is bubbling up and flaking off. I do live in a fairly wet region, about 1 mile off the Atlantic coast in Florida, but overall I'm not very impressed with their product, service or warranty.

Definitely not normal for water to be inside the bars. No water in any of my bars or cubes with breathers.
I did have some water into my rigid fogs, but that did dry out and i know rigid will warranty it if i requested it.

Wow, unreal. Thank you for the details. People were curious about this bar on a truck forum I am on for our truck...they will appreciate the info.

- That's what I thought, but ExtremeLED was OK with it (or at least didn't feel that water inside the light housing was grounds for repair or covered in their "Lifetime Warranty").

I run a 40" (I think) X6S amber/white combo on my Sherpa rack and been 100% satisfied with it. Great quality for the $$. No condensation, plenty bright for my needs. The amber in inclimate weather really helps.

No but I've seen a few 4runners with them and they look really nice and insanely bright. I'd buy them if I could afford it.

I also got the Extreme led X6S along with the Cali raised ambr/white dual switch. Can anyone help with where the wires go? Red, White, blue and black on the light harness. Blue, green, black , yellow, and red on the switch.

I'm wondering about this as well. I purchased a switch from Amazon and I have dual LED Rigid bar. The wiring is exactly the same as yours.

What do you expect from a company that sells white-labeled Alibaba Baja Designs cloned garbage? You get what you pay for. All my Baja Design lighting S8s, Squadrons etc have been submerged completely in water and traveled thousands of hard offroad miles and they have zero water intrusion and work just fine.

Extremeled is nothing special. You might as well buy the cheaper variations on ebay/amazon etc, they all come from the same place.
