Baja Designs
Does anybody have the fog light kit made by Baja? Can you post a close up photo of it? How big are the gaps?
Also, will this work with the Limited fogs? Lastly, I'm assuming the Squadron Sport lights are for off road use only, correct?
Thanks

New kit has a filler plate built in to eliminate the gaps. Dont know about limited fogs. Squadron Pros are designed for off road use, but some run as normal fogs. Those running Pros as normal fogs do express people flash them a lot. I run Sports and get flashed....

I run my Squadron Sports (wide cornering pattern) at night but I dim them down so they are only running at 30% of output. Never been flashed.

I have them, and then when they came out with the fog surrounds, I installed those as well. I was probably one of their first orders for the fog surrounds. Fit is fantastic.
Here 's a photo:

the wide pattern is nice, but in the city, i get high beamed left and right due to the beam pattern. Rigid fogs have a clean and crisp cut off.

As a general rule of thumb, the amber wide cornering lens will be best for the fog light position and the Squadron Sports will be more streetable than the Pros. Both are technically illegal to run on DOT roads. On the road I run them in low visibility conditions only, and when there aren't vehicles oncoming. Granted I have the Squadron Pros so I take more consideration for when they are on
As for fitment, the angled bezels fit the stock bumper very well for a clean look. They really hit the ball out of the park with this one...

Sorry should have mentioned that. I'm using an sPod to control all my lights and accessories.

Do you have the SE touch screen, or SE 8 button system? How easy is it to dim lights on the go? Thanks!

While not DOT approved the Sports typically meet the regulation for lumens/candlepower for most states as road legal (please verify your own state laws). There's no way on earth the Pros are public road legal.
I initially installed the flat bezel wide/cornering in amber Sports for fogs and really liked them. One late, cloudy, foggy night driving in the Great Smokies I was actually a little disappointed with the distance they projected. There was plenty of width, but not so much straight out. When I got home I ordered the driving/combo lenses and the new bezels. After much frustration in not getting them installed I had to send the lights back to BD for service. They changed the lenses and faceplates for me. I mounted the spot part of the lens on the bottom to try and keep from blinding others. I've not managed another foul weather night drive in the Smokies yet, but so far they do seem to project light further down the road. There will be a better write up in my thread once I've had more conditions to properly evaluate them.
As for gap, you actually need to have some so they can be aimed properly. If they were truly flush they would probably be pointed too high and blinding other drivers. I still occasionally get flashed, but it's rare and usually only by someone coming uphill at me.

I didn't know you can dim them...
Is that a factory supported option or are you just reducing the voltage going to the lights?
Can you dim the Pro as well?
This thread is making me want to give some real branded lights a try.
