17x8.5 -10 with 285s would be easy to fit. 265's would be almost no work.

Were you running stock UCA's when you ran the 17x9 -38?

How does the 4.56 work with your 295s? Can you do 75 without too high of an RPM? Did you add a front locker when you did the swap?

Where I live we all drive about 80-85 MPH on the highway. Does it no problem. After doing the 4.56 and full bumpers I could see how 4.88 would be awesome. 4.56 and 295 is great though. No issues.

I did not do the front locker. Just didn't have the extra coin at the time and my long travel rear setup helps greatly. But nothing beats a front locker.

It's hard to get the answer you want. I think a 1" wheel spacer with the stock 4th gen wheel will be very close to the 17x8.5 -10 (4.30 backspace). If possible to get one 1" spacer and put on before you order just to get an idea of what you will run into.

Maybe.

I talked to SCS on instagram since they dont have a phone number. they said it will fit will "very light" trimming of the fender liners and removing or heating part of the front mudflap.

At least they seem to know and didn't BS you and say there wouldn't be any rubbing.

Anyone run 285’s on a stock TRD PRO with F5’s? Considering a bmc but wondering if necessary.

I’m running stock size tires on my new SCS wheels on my Pro. No issues with rubbing. Hope this helps. You just get a better look on the tires with the fatter wheel.

After reading a lot on this topic I don’t think there is a clear black and white answer.

I have Ray’s 10 (8.5”) running 265 AT3W (32”) with Rally Armor flaps and with stock suspension I get rubbing at full turn forward or reverse on the drivers side at full lock.

The mud flaps are less of an issue than stock but not as good as these from Rokblokz that have a cutout for the BM. Plus the Rally Armors are a ice magnet.

Toyota 4Runner (5th Gen) 2014-2018 Mud Flaps – RokBlokz

I have I lift sitting and waiting to be installed life just seems to constantly get in the way.

Front: 6112, 4th clip setting, 1/2” spacers (1” ish lift), JBA UCAs, Wheelers bump stops. This should net me 2.75-3” lift up front

Rear: 5160, Eibach load leveling coils and bump stops 250#, Black Gate Customs KDSS spacer (waiting on this). I can then adjust as needed for level with a trailer.

I know not compressed I will not have rubbing, but I am addressing it now knowing at full compassion I still could have issues. First step will be the Rokblokz flaps (not running flaps is just not an option for me), then a BMC at RSG if needed. I want to run 255/80 17 AT3Ws next and want to be prepared as well.

I’m doing my research here before I buy an aftermarket wheels. I’m running TRD OR wheels, 295/17s, lifted 3/2”. However when I tried to add 1.25 spidertrax spacers after BMC…. It rubs. What offset do you guys recommend on my set up? What specs do these TRD wheels have?
