New head unit and backup camera 5th Gen

I have a 2011 SR5 that my wife uses as her daily driver. It has the old school orange radio. I want to upgrade to a touchscreen with a backup camera. I’ve searched around but not found any specifics on disassembly of the rear hatch / garish and how to route the camera cable to the head unit. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Ours doesn’t even have the rear chrome garnish camera plug, I guess due to its age. Local shop wants $1399 plus tax, but I can buy from Crutchfield for less than half and be sure it’s done right with the help of the folks on this site.

PS: Looking at the newer capacitive touchscreen from Pioneer, any experiences with these?

Thanks everybody!

I have a 2011 SR5 too. I just recently got rid of the stock, "orange" radio and upgraded to a Pioneer Avic 8200NEX. I got a backup camera, installed new speakers, satellite radio, etc... I paid to have the install done though so couldn't assist much with the wiring. I can take and post pictures later today though of the finished product...

Scosche TA2106B Dash Kit
Pioneer AVIC-8200NEX
Pioneer ND-BC8 Universal Backup Camera
SiriusXM SXV300v1 Tuner Kit for Satellite Radio
iDatalink Maestro RR
Kenwood Excelon KFC-X183C (for the rear doors)
Kenwood Excelon KFC-XP184C (for the front doors/dash)
2 JL Audio 12W0v3.4 in the hatch

The above is what I purchased and had installed. I actually already had 2 JL Audio subwoofers from a previous vehicle but they had dry rotted and I had to buy new ones. I used the same sub box though. The subwoofers are powered by a Zapco Reference 350 amp I had, again from a previous vehicle. The other Kenwood speakers I bought are all powered by the Pioneer AVIC-8200NEX, it has more than enough power to do so unlike a stock headunit. The AVIC-8200NEX has been a great headunit. Pics to follow...
