Before after with Eibach Pro Truck lift. Was worried about butt sag but looks great to me. The drive is great. One of the things I chose Eibach for was that it was supposed to feel close to stock and not too stiff. It doesn't feel stiff at all just tighter. Still very comfortable just less lean and nose dive.

Got the full kit installed a couple of weeks ago on my ‘16 Trail. I decided to go with JBA UCAs while I had it apart. After 500 miles, the ride is much better, but can be stiff at times with the KDSS. Overall I’m happy with it, the stability at speed is a huge improvement. The alignment shop set me at 4° of caster on each side. The tires are 275 Wildpeaks that I’ve had for about 30,000 miles now.

2021 ORP, Eibach Stage 1 kit, JBA's and 285 Open Country AT3s.
Only trimmed the front bumper, kept the mud flaps. Caster is 5.0 and 5.1
Rides great, tiny UCA tire rubs in reverse.

I really like the way yours turned out, and have been thinking of getting this kit for my truck as well. Were there any specific challenges you faced getting it installed with the KDSS system?

Another happy Eibach customer here. Installed my kit a couple weeks ago and just put some 275/70-17 BFG KO2s on it this weekend. No rubbing so far, but it’s reeeeeeally close in the front with the wheel turned all the way.

I am running the 2.0 kits and the coil is hitting the sway bar on the driver side occasionally. Does anyone else have this problem? I know they had a sway bar relocation kit for Tacomas but haven’t seen anything on this for the 4Runner.

Any new info on this? I haven't seen many posts regarding the 2.0. I am looking at the 2.0 because of the adjustable front as I'd like to add a winch later and want to more easily level it out as I am guessing it will pull the front down.

I'm pretty disappointed in Eibach, to say the least. Perhaps it doesn't matter practically, but I'm pretty sure that both their top mount lower bushing as well as this lower eyelet bushing are incorrect, and for whatever reason, they don't feel the need to change it. I guess it doesn't really matter in the end if everyone is happy with their suspension. I really, really hope that this does not cause issue with my 4Runner down the road. I am trying to decide how to proceed at this point.
With 150 pages of this thread, I cannot believe I am the first to notice this.
Eibach Fits Incorrect Lower Bushings in their 5G Pro-Truck Sport Shocks.. Thoughts?

Just to give you guys some heads up, I've run into this issue trying to upgrade to some Dobinsons coilovers. My brackets seem slightly bent making the Dobs bushing too wide to fit in now. I've tried bending them outward but getting little success, so now I'll have a shop help me with the tools they have and gonna cost me labor since I might as well have them install everything and perform the alignment. I measured the bushing and it seems to be about 1.625" or 41.3mm which looks like to be the stock measurement, so im pretty sure the bracket is bent. Funny thing is Eibach installed these for me, so if you plan on upgrading in the future, I would keep an eye out for this issue.

Hi,
Did you need to add wheel spacers when installing the JBA UCA? and which JBA did you end up installing the STD high caster or the heavy duty high caster?
regards

No wheel spacers and the std high caster arms.
I have noticed some minor rubbing only when reversing at about 3/4 turning. strangely i did not notice this at first, but nothing to worry about and i dont want spacers so ill deal with the rub. i dont push it off-road at all, its my daily street ride.
(i edited my original post to mention the rub. thx)

My Eibach kit arrived today fully assembled after about a 2 week wait from Wheelers Off Road. Very excited to get it installed. I plan on doing the install myself but have a couple questions.
For those of you that installed yourself, did you reuse the cotter pins or did you get new ones? If you got new ones, where did you get them from? I have read that you are not supposed to reuse cotter pins.
Is anyone using stock UCAs with 285s? Trying to decide if you want to buy them. Some say get them some say it’s not necessary.
Thanks!

I've reused them without issue over the years when modding different vehicles of mine. Just don't mangle them when removing them.

Yes, no issues here for two years.
Thanks!

I installed my kit today on my 2017 SR5. It took me about 5 hours using a hydraulic lift with no help. This is my first time doing any work on a vehicle aside from changing a headlight bulb so I felt it went pretty well. My only concern in the passenger side coil over. The only way it would fit was with the "Eibach" logo facing in. If I rotate it 180-degrees, the top bolts will not line up with the holes and I rotate it 90-degrees the bottom wont fit. The drivers side went in perfectly with the logo facing out. Attached are pictures for reference.
I got the kit from Wheelers fully assembled on the first ring. Everything seems to be assembled correctly and the coil overs are seated like they should be. Is this a problem? Pics are of the passenger side.

I followed the Trail 4Runner install guide and put it in the same way as the drivers side. There was no forcing or extra work that had to be done to get it to sit properly so I believe it was installed correctly.
EDIT: Correct guide
