I spoke with Tanner today and he said he wasn’t sure, that generally the damper team just preloads the spring enough so it doesn’t roll around. In other words you should plan on installing, getting it on the ground to check everything, then jacking back up to set height you want. Mine should be here this week, also ordered JBA UCAs.

Those look good man! These are in my top couple of choices for a mild lift/level after the added weight of a C4 fab front bumper and a synthetic line 10k winch. Only concern really is the 600 lb spring weight carrying that much weight well vs options that have 600-650-700 lb etc. coil options.

Have a 19 OR with KDSS. I want to do a 2 inch lift with 275/70/17's
Weight wise I'm looking to do a hardshell RTT (don't know weight yet) at some point and a gobi or victory rack for some mostly light off road duty with a trunk full of coolers and camping gear, two big dogs and a 4 year old in the back.

Was going to get the Stage 1 system but was wondering if they had a kit with the rear adjustable?

With the KDSS lean - a rear adjustable spring seems like a good call but what weight should I be looking at, 200? or 250 lbs?

Tanner was correct only in the fact he didnt know. He was also mistaken that they can easily be adjusted while on jackstands. My shop had to pull them 3 times release the spring and make adjustments. They tried the spanner toothpick that came with the set and it bent in the guys hand.

Edit, if anyone else gets these please let me know if they are adjustable on the rig.....maybe my set is screwed up

I just had a local dealer here in DFW install the Eibach kit along with some SPC upper control arms. I had tire rub before, but with my caster now sitting at about 4.7 the rub is gone (running 275/65 right now). Overall, I am thrilled with the kit and highly recommend it. It just soaks up all of the road imperfections like it's nothing now. Very composed and it handles on rails in the corners. Here are some before and after pics. I had a Revtek front spacer kit before the Eibach kit. I should have just done the Eibach kit to begin with!

Do you get any rubbing with the 285/70r17 tires? Or did you have to do some modifications to make them work? I am getting a Eibach installed and I am debating on 275's or 285's. Thanks.

If you are going to be running either of those tire sizes, I highly recommend installing adjustable upper control arms when you have the Eibach kit installed. I would probably still be rubbing if it weren't for the control arms and the caster we were able to achieve with them.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but your wheel offset is going to be an important variable here. I had an aggressive offset (don’t remember what it is unfortunately) and I rubbed with 275s on 17x9s and needed the bmc.

Just finished mine with the ring on lowest setting. It is to late to measure, I am shot but the front looks higher then the rear? Is this normal during break in? Springs are seated properly, everything torqued down.

Just an update with the stage 2. The shop had a hell of a time with these, pulled them and adjusted them 6 times now and they still are not right. Got home and passenger was 1/2" higher.
I called Eibach and talked to tech support and they told me something completely different than they told my shop. Told shop to adjust and test where it sits. Problem is you need to pull the strut each time.
I called Eibach and they tracked down the R&D guy who knows about these and this is what I was told.---- need to release the preload, said I should be able to compress the spring on the rig while it's jacked up. Then said 12 turns =1" of lift or 3 turns for 1/4". Perfect, I run to harbor freight and get the spring compressor for 30bucks....it don't fit on the coils. Maybe they sell coil compressor that will fit while installed???
What did I find out? Jacked the rig up to attempt the adjustment and since could do nothing put the tire on and done. I measured before and again afterwards. Just jacking it up and lowering it, not driving the rig raised the whole damn front 3/4". I can only recommend set the damn things, forget the alignment and put a few hundred miles and hope they settle. No wonder shop had a hard time, they move every time he lifted it up....without adjustment. Next is the 12 threads per inch theroy. My shop left them at 7 threads from the bottom. One side got 1.5" the other 2".....so much for the 12 threads per inch. Will report back in a few hundred miles. Anyone else, please report back findings, I really want to know if mine are ****ed up or if they simply need to settle.
Edit- I've read so much that for true measurements check at 1/2 tank of gas. After giving up the the day, had 1/4 tank. went to the gas station and measured before and after being a full tank. The measurements were identical, adding gas did nothing. Also the eibach rear springs got 1.5" lift, not the advertised 1"...maybe they will settle 1/2" ?

That is normal- even happens with stock unmodified suspension- when you jack it up the wheels move in and lower- setting it back down the tires have to scoot sideways some to get normal height back- as soon as you roll it a few feet the extra disappears as the tires scoot over.

I've had fox, bilstien and toytecs and just set them and go, what's different with Eibachs?

I am currently on the Eibach kit and have been running it and 285s for 3 years on stock UCA's no issues. Plenty of people have installed this kit and run 285s as well, you might thumb through this thread as there is plenty of info. Also, switched to aftermarket Pro Comp 17x9 -6 wheels and no problems. I did trim the front of the fender a little, just the plastic flap, no biggie at all. I don't think you should run into any issues unless with 295s possibly, wheels spacers, or SCS 17x9 -38 wheels, etc.

I love the Eibach kit.

I have 285/70/17 cooper at3 xlt and it rubs on front fender liner/bumper on just driver side. I plan to push the liner in and trim bumper a little this weekend to resolve it. I have the tires on my stock wheels in case you are wondering.
