Tell me this has happened to y'all too!?
The family and I are on a road trip (me, wife, daughter 4yrs old)
We mud/climb anything we can find, we bought it for a family/ fun vehicle.
On one of our stops to eat we decided to sit in the car and look at the scenery around us and eat. As this is happening, my wife and daughter were fumbling a cup to each other.
That's when it happened, BOOM! whole large extra sweet tea all over the center and filled my wife's seat. It was like watching 40k being burned right in front of my eyes, that I work my ass off to make. (Im no pencil pusher ;))
We went into panic mode!!! Towels were flying, ice was flying out every door.
We got every bit of tea/ ice out and than wiped everything down with cleaning wipes.
Ease my mind. Let's here the worst spills/ messes made in your 5th gens....

I have 3 young boys, and I had just let my 2yo out of his seat during a stop on the Tennessee Dirt Devil trail. He peed his pants immediately after crawling down onto second row floor. A lot. Poor guy was potty training and still figuring it out. THANKFULLY, I had just bought a set of Husky floormats the week before, which have pretty tall sides.
I will say this for the Husky mats: they'll keep the pee in the mat, not on your carpet.

Brand new sr5. Had perforated katskin leather put in before I took possession.
Immediately took a road trip by myself. Headed to the high dessert to go poke around. Had a little burble going on in my stomach. Wasn’t sure what that was about. But overall felt fine. I figured I wait until the next town and use the restroom, get something to drink and all will be well.
I was wrong.
The burbling got louder. And started descending. It was hard to ignore. By now I was in town desperately looking for a place to stop in an unfamiliar scene. Locating a larger grocery story, I circled, looking for a damn entrance! That’s when it hit. An explosion of sounds and smells that no man should ever have to deal with. Out it came in a river of violence. Cascading through my shorts and all over a brand new 4Runner.
I shit myself. And there was nothing I could do.
After the violence I did everything I could to clean it up. You can’t tell to this day. But I have thought seriously about trading it in on a new one. Concerned how it goes this summer when it gets hot out

Ca 1972. Milk still purchased in 1/2 gallon glass bottles. No such thing a kid restraints. No such thing as Weathertech. Two rowdy boys break not one but two 1/2 gallons of milk in the rear seat floor of my previously-nice Ford station wagon.
I sold them the next day for scientific experiments.

Lets just say cruising down a dirt road with an open blueberry/strawberry smoothie in one hand is a bad idea. (The obvious sometimes elludes me.) But it did give me the impetus to learn how to fully tear down the center console ond stack.

Spill
I had a 32oz growler of milk stout crack (for no apparent reason) and leak its entire contents on my passenger seat! I was driving and heard a noise...I looked over and saw it leaking and had no where to pull over to try and stop it until it was empty. I took the seat out and pulled up the carpet twice to get the smell out! Let me tell you milk stouts don't leave a pleasant smell after a few hot days with the windows up!

@ movesfast
Lovely story.
The Grammarist: "Shat is the widely accepted past-tense inflection of shit. It was formed by analogy with the verb sit, which becomes sat in the past tense. It was originally a humorous and slightly sanitized version of the curse word, but it has become the standard form".

It's happened to most of us. Varying degrees, but we've all been there.
I got the call while in a traffic jam from a construction zone with an accident. Stuck, not moving at all. After 20min., all of my non-life-support energy was focused on keeping my sphincter closed. About 10 minutes later, I was forced to give up.
Thankfully, I keep a roll of t.p. in the truck. Got out, ran down the hill into the trees on the side of the highway, did my thing, came back up the hill to honking and cheering.
California, 2001.

I always keep some equate flushable baby wipes in my center console. Just in case! It does't take up any room and no one sees it.
