Aligment after toytec 3" lift + JDA arms
Good Day All.
Wanted to make sure my post alignment numbers looked good as I (with little knowledge) found that the Caster #s stayed the same, they are within spec but about a whole degree difference 2.8/3.6
spec are 2017 Sr5 with 3" Toytec/5100 and 2" Toytec Super Flex with JBA UCAs , Stealth Custom Ray 10s and 285 70 17.
This was done at Toyota but i feel like the caster wasn't even adjusted. Didn't notice till i left the dealer.
Is there anything i should be worried about? Sorry about the tilted Image

I'd be interested to know as well, i am getting the exact same setup installed Monday 4/30/18. What size tires are you running and what backspacing did you have on your wheels? I have 17 x 8.5 with 0 offset (4.75" backspacing) which i figured would rub on the JBA UCA's do to their website saying it should be within 4.25-4.50. I have also even seen rubbing at 4.50 so i bought .75" BORA spacers which i think should work perfectly and set me at 4.00 backspacing

My alignment shop got 4.5 degrees of caster pretty easily with a 1.75 lift. I asked them to get around 4.5 which is technically out of spec. Did you ask for a specific amount of caster?

If you aren't rubbing, then the alignment looks good to me. You only screw around with caster if you are rubbing.

SCS Ray 10s 17 X 8.5 4.30" BS -10mm Off set with Falken AT3W 285 70 17.
Toy Tec/5100s
I didnt rub when i installed in driveway and didnt rub after alignment. Everything feels good. doesnt pull or feel funny and no frub on UCAs. Just removed front mud flaps because i would rub just lightly at full turn.
So ill just keep as if no issues with it on paper. All feels well.

For starters, did you measure left to right after install and adjust properly? I went with the ToyTec Ultimate kit and out of the box, I was 2" higher on the passenger side than the driver side. Had to adjust the coilover on the passenger side to relieve preload and level to exactly 3" left and right. With that said, your caster should not be different side to side. You want about 4* on both sides equally which you don't have. I would measure from center of hub to bottom of the fender and make sure you're even left to right. You should be at 23" for a 3" lift over stock. Then go back to the dealer so they can fix your alignment.

No, I don't have the adjustable coilovers. My left and right side were visually fine. And i didn't measure left to right, since minus installing a 1/4 top spacer, there was no adjustment/spanner wrench setup like you have.
I took measurements before and will take some once i hit 30 miles post lift.
So your telling me to take it back to toyota and ask for 4.0 Caster? Is this something that i would prolly have to repay for since its "with in spec"?
I got these http://toyteclifts.3dcartstores.com/...rGX_p_365.html

Measure and use a spacer on the DS if you aren't level. I wouldn't pay them to fix it, they screwed it up. Different caster from left to right is NOT "within spec" it's just wrong. You may be off left to right very slightly for a number of reasons but you're off quite a bit.

It's normal to set the caster .5* less positive on the drivers side to account for road crown. On perfectly flat ground it will tend to pull towards the side with lower caster, but the road crown makes it pull the other way... so the concept is to balance it out. The higher the caster.. the less need for a a difference.

There is absolutely no point in getting another alignment if its in spec, your not rubbing, and your vehicle is driving fine.
there is no set rules when it comes to alignments. I'm not sure why the internet is telling you to go back and ask for a +4.0 castor, when you have no problems with your current alignment.
Since our vehicles are body on frame, every vehicle is different. Some vehicles will require messing with their alignment specs because they HAVE TO in order to clear their tires, and others don't. Consider yourself one of the lucky ones that don't.
Honestly, i'd be happy with your install if it was me.
YMMV.

I tend to disagree with this statement. Alignment makes the difference between dragging wheel, fluttering on the highway, and jagged feeling bumps. My caster was intentionally set to 3.5 and it made a world of difference as to ride quality and hitting bumps.
In addition, "rubbing" is not the only reason. Wheel wear overtime is a big issue. Even with rotations and balancing every 3-5K miles, unequal alignment numbers on each side can drive someone nuts when it comes to tire wear.
