My experience with RSG Angled No Kick out Slider install
I purchased my 4runner about 3 weeks ago, and purchased angled slider with kick out next day from RSG since they are local. Then I read Jason's Post regarding his new no kick out sliders, and decided to give him a call. He told me that powder coating was two weeks out. Well exactly two weeks have passed and got a call from Jason today. I drove out to his metal shop, and got to see his fabrication shop and his awesome 4runner. Great service and upon inspection sliders were looking great.
Now for the install.
It took me about 1 hour taking my time. I think having jack stands is the key during the install.
Every bolt and holes lined up perfectly. I was concerned little since I saw a youtube video regarding RSG slider install and that guy could not get one bolt in. But my sliders lined up dead on.
Two thumbs up for Jason and his RSG staff.

I have the angled WITH kick-out, they are awesome.
I think RSG makes the best looking sliders out there.
Very beefy too.

@ ride16734
- thanks for posting your experience and the pics. Considering these exact sliders. Is the powder coat finish smooth or a little rough for grip?

Powder coating look and feel good as any other. Texture wise I would say close to non glossy where there is enough grip so I wouldn't worry about slipping. Slider I had on my TJ rubi was from RockHard 4x4 and their finish was glossy black. I had to put on grip tape on those since it was too slick for step use.

If i need new sliders any time down the road, I will definitely get a set of RSG with the kick out.

I didn't have a chance to weigh them since I installed them soon as I got home. But it has good weight to them, where I would not have been able to install without jack stands. My guess would be around 45-55 pounds each. Then again it could be more.... it's tubing is larger than Heftyfab's, and I also wanted angled rather than flat. Trails I will take on has lots of boulders and I will need few more inches of clearance.

The title is a bit misleading - makes one think you’re going to delve into actual use of the sliders, vs experience with the company themselves lol

@ WAT4R
I didn’t remove any plugs. Just bolt right on. No issues.
