Wheel well undercoat

Howdy

My truck is a about 4months old and so far I've done quite a few miles in 4x4 parks and off road trails etc, my factory undercoat has taken a beating from all the rocks so I'm looking at a solution/suggestions?

I also what to protect the area nearest the inner fender as its pretty much bare with paint exposed and can foresee it getting wrecked in no time.

What are you guys doing about this? I'm planning to keep this truck for the long haul - prevention is better than cure and all that

POR15 makes a rubberized undercoat, just don't spray it on heavily or it takes like weeks to dry. I usually hit mine with some if I buzz the interior rubber off while going fast.

You really aren't joking! I laid it on fairly light (2 coats 4hrs window as per can instructions) and its been a week and it's still wet/tacky..

It will dry, but it takes a long time. It's like tar and it's super hard to clean off if you touch it.

Keep in mind whatever coating you use that takes a blasting of gravel is sacrificial and will need to be easily reapplied over time without special equipment. You want something that looks good when reapplied.

Check out Gravel Guard and Total Coat.

I use Total Coat with a 2" thick nap roller. Looks gray out of the bottle, dries black. Washes up with water, after it dries it takes a high speed with a red 3m pad to get off.

Guy at work used gravel guard on is J**p. It is rated to take 500 hrs of GM9508P.

US distro is in Memphis TN.

Bullet Liner? No experience with it, but it seems tough as hell.
