Foglight Moisture

Anyone have an issue with water entering the foglights. My original one on the driver side on my 2016 4r filled up almost half way. Had the dealership put in a new foglight assembly about a month ago and now the new one has water in it too...

My passenger side has done this on my 2010. Replaced the seal. Didn’t matter. Considering buying a whole new one since there seems to be a leak somewhere else.

I meant to post this earlier, and i don't know how the fog light on the 4runner is designed since I"m still new to this vehicle. But on other vehicles I've had the headlights and fog lights have always been a two piece. The glass and the housing and they clip together with a seal. I used to pull them out and use a clear sealer on the seam that joins the two parts and the stopped moisture from getting in. But OP idk if it may be getting in where the light plugs in or at the seam.

It happened to my 2011 trail, every time I emptied it out, it would fill back up again. I replaced it with a used one from ebay ($20) It has never filled up since.

Hasn't happened in my 16 yet, but ditto on my 03, leaks, fills with water, replaced, repeat, bulbs pop. Finally fed up drilled tiny hole in bottom of lens, problem solved. Surprisingly the hole is so small it doesn't allow water in but only out, bulbs no longer popping, been 3 years.

This happened on my 2015 Trail. Took it to the dealer and they blamed the LED bulbs. They said "Toyota designed the fog light seals differently than the headlight seals. The fog lights are designed to use the heat from the OEM bulb to evaporate the condensation in the housing, and the LED bulbs do not get hot enough to evaporate the condensation. Warranty claim denied." I'll bite my tongue on my opinion of this statement and let it speak for itself.
