I bought a screw and washer to fit into the headliner attachment point. I don’t see it at all when I’m back there.
It actually sticks out past the weather sealing to get the camera as close to the rear window without touching.
I just recently moved it off the center headliner attachment point and put it on the one closer to the passenger side so that it would be in the wiper path.

Viofa A129 Pro? If so, thats what I got. I did similar but mounted right next to the button with a screw through the hole where the snap is and a piece of aluminum. Worked great.

Rear mount
I made my rear mount out of 1/2” aluminum tubing. Works great.

Any reason why you decided to do this from the side instead of dead center for mount?

I mounted it off to the side to keep it out of the way. I wanted to get it close to the rear window and felt if I centered mounted it I would likely be bumping it in the future. The rear video is really nice. Now to figure out the "cloud" option.

The cloud this is pretty cool when it works. The issue I have now is that the camera starts and restarts constantly while in use. I called the vendor and they told me to send it in. They then send it back to Blackvue in KOREA!!!!! They told me the whole process can take 6 to 8 weeks. Had I know that, I would never have bought it.

I removed the plastic button that holds the headliner and tapped it so I could bolt a bracket to it that I made. I just so happened to have some spray paint that is a very close match. Keeps it fairly close to the window and up out of the way.

This is a great setup. What size screw did you use?
Do you have a camera view example?

If I remember correctly I used a M6 screw.
The camera can see just about every edge of the back window and also has less line being up high.

TheDashCamStore ships out RMA item and include a return label where they'll send that defective camera back to Korea while you don't have to wait at all or worry about the camera that was being repaired

How long ago did you place this order with the Amazon seller? Could always do a chargeback if you don't get it back in a timely manner
