I may consider this if it wouldn't hurt anything. Should only make it better?

Yeah it will definitely improve things. That being said; after doing these for a couple of generations of Toyota 4Runners, I’m not convinced these axles were perfectly centered from the outset.
Nonetheless, this kit’s primary benefit is in roll center/handling over centering; but it’ll put your axle back where it was when Toyota made it.

I found that quote in the thread you linked. After my I had my lift and especially after the skinny and tall tires put on, the VSC went crazy and keeps kicking in on dry pavement, even after a zero point calibration. Would getting one of the kits help? I'm not sure the differences in 3rd vs 5th gen VSC.

I’m pretty sure that they’re the same.

I honestly can't comment on that; my '96 doesn't have VSC!

Slight material thickness change and some minor tweaking to make it self-align a bit better:
Printing a revision now.

Glad to see the quick progress on this. As soon as you have something produced, I'm definitely in. Thanks for the hard work.

Cool, and thank you - I've got to kind of make time for the 4Runner stuff or it doesn't happen!

Need part number help!
Hey guys,
while I'm waiting for the job quotes to come back, I could use some help with some part numbers...
The truck I borrowed to design the PCK is a 2011 with standard suspension, and it has been in a snowy region for some part of its life as evidenced by the rust on the suspension components.
I want to replace the swaybar bolts and links for the owner:
- the swaybar bolts appear to be a stepped m9x1.0 thread at the tip with an M10x1.0 at the base? There are four of them (2 per clamp) and I cannot find the Toyota part number to order them.
- Similarly, I cannot find the Toyota part number for the M14x1.5 Flange Nut that is on the upper panhard bar bolt.
- and lastly, I want to put longer swaybar links on there for her - is there an alternative Toyota part that folks use on the 5th gen after lifting them?
TIA for any help/guidance you can give on these!

How strong is the OEM bracket to be needing this? I know on the wranglers they were weak as shit and had to be reinforced. If the Toyota stuff is strong like the rest of the vehicle, wouldn't an adjustable track bar/panhard be sufficient to bringing the body back in the correct position? I'm sure the combo of the upgraded bracket and bar would be extra nice and strong.

I can't speak highly enough of the quality of these kits, they're like Legos that fit right in place. I have your 3rd gen PCK on my truck and I recently helped my girl lift her truck. She got the Toytec frame drop, my friend who welds was not happy when he found out she got a different kit than yours

Hi there, I haven’t seen an issue with strength, although the factory mount would indeed be the weak point with this kit - it uses thinner gauge steel than I would, but it is tied into the spring mount, so it does have a good foundation.
As far as bringing the body back into alignment; at rest, any approach can do that. The PCK is designed to correct geometry issues that affect handling, in addition to returning the axle center at rest.
Check this out: https://youtu.be/liR1--EHMg8
It explains the fundamental issues with an extended panhard bar in conjunction with a lift kit better than I can.
