Hey
@ eimkeith
, I have a 4th gen with a ToyTec adjustable panhard bar that I'm starting to get some clunking out of. I like the idea of stuffing my factory bar with poly bushings and getting one of your PCKs, seems much more solid.
My question is probably answered somewhere but I can't seem to find it, but the holes on the bracket would correspond to lift I'm assuming? Me having around 3.5" of lift in the rear I would think I use the very top hole or whichever was most level at ride height.
Thanks for any help and the great products!

thanks!
use whichever hole best levels your bar at regular ride height/load level.

i tried to search the thread but never found the answer. How are these working out for the lifted KDSS guys? does it help alleviate interference issues at all?

I know this isn’t what your thread is about but as a CAD guy I wondered if you were modeling in Solidworks, Inventor or Creo/ProE/Wildfire? Also very nice RP makes design verification a snap! I have 14 years of Solidworks experience and about 1 year of Creo.

Read the entire thread - quite educational, even for a car enthusiast like myself. Sagitta was new to me and was fun to learn about.

Hey there, I’m noticing some odd handling characteristics with my 2” rear lift on my 5th gen. Can this be installed with a 2” lift only? Or is it meant for higher lifts?

Just ordered for my 2013 trail w/ KDSS! No lift yet but will install in anticipation of getting one. Thread was very educational and thanks for your contributions to the community.

Finally ordered one. I like the positives I read about handling and I'm eager to feel the results.
I'll be attempting to weld this on myself so it'll be a fun project for me.

I have one getting installed next week. I know nothing about welding, so taking it to a pro.
I measured from the frame to the outside tread block on my tires. It looks like my rear axle is off-center by @ 1/4 inch from the factory. Lift hasn't been installed yet. I'm going to take before and after measurements once the lift is installed. Curious to see what the results will be.

Well, finally welded it on today. It was my first major project with my good ol' Harbor Freight welder and I've been practicing since November of 2020 and enjoying it.
While it doesn't look pretty, I'm proud of my welds and the progress/knowledge I've learned.
The rear isn't pretty but she'll hold. It was difficult to get between the brake line and parking cable while I had it wrapped in foil too.
I'm going to put everything back together tomorrow and see the outcome.

It's been a week and it's held on so I guess my welds were fine lol. But really, this bracket feels great. I didn't know how much of a difference it would make, if at all, but I really feel it when taking corners and turns. The whole vehicle feels more planted and body rolls is highly reduced.
Thanks for making this bracket!
If anyone is curious about the process, I made a video of it start to finish:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BbJX5bTNftM&feature=youtu.be
Driving shots are at the end of the video if you'd rather skip to that.
