20 mph crawl control?

Would you see value in Crawl control that went all the way up to 20mph?

The 2019 Raptor is boasting this as a feature and I'm curious as to what others think?

"Ford's Trail Control off-road cruise control works from 1 mph all the way up to 20 mph, designed to work on especially rough terrain by automatically adjusting power and braking to each individual wheel. The only thing the driver has to worry about is steering."

The 4Runner's (Trail and/or TRD Off-Road) crawl control goes up to 15 mph.

What are you after? I rarely use crawl control but IMO it’s exactly what it means, “crawl control.” I see no use for cruise control speeds in an off road environment.

It cancels at 15+ mph. Listen to the video. The 5 speeds available on the button are 1 - 5 KILOMETERS per hour. You can go faster but it will only work at the speed it is set on. Personally, if I am capable of going 20 mph I don't feel a need for it. It has been my get out of jail free card a couple times for some obstacles I probably shouldn't have tried.

Ford's version sounds to me more like the Multi-Terrain Select mode Toyota offers with a cruise control button.

You use crawl control because a 4runner isn't stock geared low enough to go at crawl speeds with zero throttle actuation. It is a pretty slick cheat for having higher gear ratios.

Others may want it faster, I personally don't need it to go any faster than it already does.

but a Raptor though, for close to $70,000 loaded it should do f'n backflips.

I think it is a way for the parts department to become a huge profit center.

20 mph over "especially rough terrain"?
