i drive a 2005 4runner V8, 4x4, When the engine is hot, like on hot days or when going uphill i hear that whining sound. Is that the turbo?

When the engine is cold like it i just started to drive in the morning, there's no whining sound.

Can't tell if trolling...

First, probably should move this to the 4th gen section. The 5th gen section is for 4Runners produced in 2010+

Second, your 4Runner does not have a turbo. Can you be a little more descriptive about where it is coming from? Is it high-pitched?

Sounds like a bad flux capacitor. There is a guy called "Doc" who is an expert on these, but he can be hard to line up a time to see him.

It may not have a turbo, but IIRC there are TRD superchargers that were available for that motor. Take a photo under the hood and post to confirm. Also, wrong forum.
