You canít even compare light intensity between the factory ďfogĒ lights and these, they arenít even in the same league.

I have run these in Mojave up near Mid Hills while itís been snowing in January, and also out in Anza Borrego in June at dusk with the temps over 102 with absolutely ZERO issues. Not saying it canít happen, but I have never had decreased performance in actual use.

Good review! We have also never encountered any issues and I lived in Flagstaff, where I ran these constantly and of course we are based here in California which despite what people say, is not 70 and sunny all the time haha. These lights work and they destroy OEM fog lights.

How is the brightness for everyday use? Is it too much for daily driving in terms of other drivers being blinded?

These are not street-legal or DOT approved, driver discretion is advised when running on the street. We have many customers running the Sports in Wide Cornering without issues. There are many variables when it comes to them being "street-friendly"

Definitely something to note for those who have them or are looking to buy them. I heavily regulate them when I do run them around other traffic, but just turning them on to 100%, especially at night, especially with the Pro model will not win you any friends on the road. My general guidelines are:
  • Daytime: Dim to 50% with the Switch Pro interface. This allows for increased visibility for oncoming traffic, without adding duress to other drivers on the road
  • Nighttime: I use them the same way I use my high beams. Never with oncoming traffic or traffic in my direction because at 100% they will be far too bright for any other driver, and any dimmed amount will likely be have the same impact. Keep them off on the road at night unless you're the only one on the road. On a road by yourself however, these lights really make everything much more visible and have saved my bacon on a number of different occasions.
  • Hazard or Low Visibility: This is a judgement call, but my motto is better to be seen than not in those type of situations. Heavy snow, fog, dust, etc. If I am to the point where I cannot drive or am heavily impacted, I would much rather be seen by other drivers to avoid a potentially bad situation. But again, use good judgement.
Following these guidelines for almost a year of use and a lot of miles, I have never had any issues with people "gesturing" in my direction or flashing lights. Don't take these suggestions as a finite recommendation as everyone's situation is different. Bottom line, use your best judgement and put yourself in the seat of the other drivers on the road.

I put mine in yesterday during work. These things are bright and make the stock fog light look like a DRL. I played around with adjusting them on the brackets a little and are now just right for my liking. Sorry no night shots yet
