Baja Designs Fog Lights

Baja Designs - Plug and Play, Fog Light Kit

Now on its fifth generation, the Toyota 4Runner has earned a reputation for bullet-proof ruggedness, rock-solid dependability and, over the last two generations, comfort and refinement. It's the perfect SUV (almost). One area that could use improvement is the factory lighting system. Once you take the 4Runner off-road, you'll want to see what's ahead of you sooner.

The Baja Designs 4Runner fog pocket mounting brackets allow you to add the lighting power you need without ruining the clean lines of your Toyota 4Runner. Our fog pocket mount kits are designed for Baja Designs Squadron line of LED lights — the power you need (and then some)

AVAILABLE IN 3 OPTIONS (Stand-Alone, White, Amber)

Temperature will vary depending conditions and use. These lights do get warm on the exterior of the housing and have built-in thermal management on the inside. If temps start to climb too high the light will slightly reduce performance until temps are back in a safe range.

Wide Cornering is ideal for near field lighting and poor conditions like dust, fog, rain, snow, etc. The Driving/Combo is a blend of Wide Cornering and Spot which gives you nice near field, midfield, and distance coverage.

These lights do feature uService Technology which allows you to quickly change a lens pattern or color. You're not stuck with the pattern or color you buy!

Baja Designs wide cornering fog lights

These look great. I want to put these in a new Shrockworks front bumper I'm planning to order soon. I may need to coordinate the opening size, mounting bracket and hole size to accommodate the BD Squadron Sport WC.

No concerns. The automotive grade plastic takes a lot of heat to melt. Our lights don't get near that temp range.

So is “slightly reduced performance” still greater or equal to the OEM fogs?

Greater. More than likely you won't encounter thermal management mode unless you're stopped on a 90 degree night with no breeze. A slight breeze is all it takes to cool these down

MY GARAGE
I can attest to the performance of the Sport Squadrons, in both near freezing, as well as over 100 degree temps.

I run these in my @pelfreybilt bumper to supplement my S8 light bar. I run wide driving pattern exclusively because I never find myself reaching any speed over 30mph at night on a trail, and rarely ever over 10mph on average. Wide driving spread in the fog light configuration gives me excellent visual of brush and ditches on either side of the trail. You can’t even compare light intensity between the factory “fog” lights and these, they aren’t even in the same league.

I have run these in Mojave up near Mid Hills while it’s been snowing in January, and also out in Anza Borrego in June at dusk with the temps over 102 with absolutely ZERO issues. Not saying it can’t happen, but I have never had decreased performance in actual use.
