Things that the Toyota Entune system is better than...
Fun on Monday... we all know that Entune sucks, mine needed re-booting thrice this AM on the way to work. But I thought to myself, even though this system is glitchy, non-user friendly, and has an antiquated user interface...there must be things on the planet that it's "better than"... So please help me make a list
The Toyota Entune System is better than...
1) The Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Disaster

Volvo's Infotainment system, Ford SYNC, Uconnect (although I heard the new version is okay which I strongly doubt), Honda's infotainment system
Entune is okay, it's not perfect but it's solidly in the middle

I like it
Did you know you can adjust the contrast and brightness (totally helps), for my eyes it makes it look like HD.

AMEN! Just got rid of a Volvo S90 for that exact reason. Even after a year and a half still enough problems to make me want to run away.

Have you checked for updates recently? None of my Entune systems have had any issues since updating

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't like it's that bad at all. I have a 2015 Honda and if you want to talk about a bad infitainment system try that out. Entune does what I need it too. I have a 2014 Boxster S and Porsche's system in many respect is inferior.

The aftermarket Kenwood DDX7701HD in my other car is a total mess. The Toyota Entune unit in my Runner seems like a finely tuned polished piece of equipment by comparison. Other than a lack of app support, I think it works just fine as a system.

I'm an audiophile and have no issues with my Entune, no it's not a thousand dollar Pioneer, but for a basic system that has the features that I need, it gets the job done.

Maybe Toyota made improvements throughout the years?
My 2018 Entune system is flawless. It's fast, responsive, and never glitched.

I don’t mind the system overall but what I hate is their version of Pandora always has a skip limit, regardless of my paid account. It requires me to link my Pandora account so why can’t it realize that I shouldn’t have a skip limit. And yes I can use pandora through the phone but you lose a lot of the controls and on-screen functionality (changing stations etc)
