I just realized the passenger door speakers don’t work. Front speakers work fine. Tailgate speakers work when Party Mode is on. But rear passenger speaker make no sound in any mode or fader position. There are speakers there but they just don’t work.
You can tell the car was never abused and well kept.
Any ideas?

Hi jwinn,
...sure! I'm surprised that they lasted that long to be honest! Just remove the trim panel from the passenger door. Get a multi-meter set to
'AC-Volts'. Connect your red and blk leads to the speaker wires; doesn't matter which lead goes to
POS or
NEG cuz it's ac current! Turn on your music with the HU set to feed ALL speakers and look for any voltage change (1.5 to 5 volts), just to prove that the speakers are getting a music signal.
You could also ohm out the speakers to check for continuity but you don't have to! The Speakers are probably blown; considering the level of junk that
Toyota threw in there, and when water gets in there; like from the snow or rain, it freezes in cold weather, which cuts the cheap voice-coils in the $5 dollar speakers, so "Game-Over"! Please be sure to let us know what you find out, just for a reference for the next poor guy/gal who's having similar troubles!
rig, cheers!
