Dometic cooler check out

Finally took the cooler out of the box and plugged it into a 12V power supply to see how it works, wow that thing really cools.

Do most of you run on 12v or the 110 outlet in back?

12V. Most people will run a hot 12v line from their battery.

I might do that when I get a dual battery setup - we're just using it to keep food/drinks cool on a road trip to Idaho, Montana and Wyoming next week

The factory 12v outlets are not rated to run that fridge. Thats why people run new wire and outlets. The 110 volt will work but will turn off when ever your 4runner is off. Unless they changed since 2013.

You don't need dual batteries to run an outlet for part time use.

This... and it'll only take an hour or two to run a new line. Faster if you've got someone to help you.
