Do you regret your two inch lift? How about your 3 inch lift?
I was pretty much settled on a Bilstein 6112-5160 shocks, shooting for 1 7/8 in the front and 1.5 in the back. I talked to a local shop and he's really pushing the OME 3 inch lift. 3 inches seems like more than I need, especially since I am running 275s.
So, for those of you who went with the 2 inch lift, do you wish you had more? And 3 inch lifts, wish you went with less?
Thanks!

I have coilovers, so the more I mess with preload the stiffer my setup gets.
So yeah, I would have been happy at 2 inches if I could clear the tires that I was running, but I couldn't so up to 3 inches I went.

I regret doing a lot of things in my life, but lifting my pavement princess three inches isn’t one of them.

I went 2-2.5" and am running 285/70/17s and had to trim a good bit to get max turn.
No regrets.
3" might be too much for 275s, but allow time for others to weigh in with info and pics.
This is from the desert just this weekend so you can see a side profile. Best I have ATM.

I have the Dobinsons 2.5" front, 1.5" in back.
I'm happy.

I'm going the same route as you and looking to go just a tad higher than TRD pro height. I think it's a good compromise

What’s the point of 1 7/8? Why not 2.5”? Or 2.125? If you are that exact you may want to install yourself for future adjustments.
The answer to the question is 42 btw.

I have the Toytec adjustable struts/coilover setup in front with 5100s. I bought them with 600lb. springs in front, and Superflex coils in the rear (approx 210-220lbs. depending on who you ask).
I started out at 2.5" in the front, but I didn't like all the preload I had to dial in to get to that height, and the subsequent decreased comfort. At that time I knew almost nothing about suspension and how changing the weight of the spring (without changing it's height) can increase or decrease static ride height without adjusting preload. Anyway, I adjusted back down to 2" and the ride was better, but I was still unhappy with the constant G-outs, especially after adding 120lbs. of weight to the nose.
I purchased 650lb. springs and installed them, and immediately I gained some height back due to the strength of the springs without having to adjust the preload, a very happy medium, and now I have very little nose dive and most G-out situations are avoided. Unfortunately I did not measure the height gain after the install so I can only speculate as to how much height I gained, but I am guessing about .25"+/-
My point is, springs are relatively inexpensive to change out if for some reason you don't like the ride, or the height.
My opinion is if 3" seems like too much to you, it probably is. And no matter what OME says in it's product sheets, your ride height will vary depending on how much weight you have added to the vehicle. While a bone stock truck might get the full 3", a truck with a loaded rack, or bumpers will not.
MOST threads I've read seem to point to 2.5" being the "happy medium" of lift, ride comfort, and long term reliability of suspension components.
Good luck with your choice!
To answer the question, along with a stipulation, I don't think I would regret being at 3" as long as I had the proper setup to retain the comfort levels I desire. I'm about to completely change my setup, so I see how 3" feels and I'll dial it back from there depending on comfort levels.

I kind of regret putting on a daystar 2.5/1.5 instead of Bilstein 5100’s but I may still put some on up front and leave the 1.5” spacers on in the rear.

I haven't seen anyone mention UCAs yet. With the 2" lift you should be fine with your stock UCAs but, a 3" lift will likely need aftermarket UCAs to obtain the correct alignment. That's an added cost that you would need to prepare for.

I have a Toytec Ultimate at about 2 1/2" with 650# front springs to compensate for the winch. I use mine as daily drive as well as off roading in the Colorado Rockies so the lift was necessary.
My combination works well for me, I have better approach and departure angles, better clearance and the ride is not too harsh. In fact, compared to the Rubicon that I came from the ride is like a Lexus.
I like the look as well as the function of the lift and I don't mind the ride, so, no I have no regrets.
