Ive had these for a month now (maybe?) I dont remember exactly.
I DO NOT REGRET BUYING THESE WHATSOEVER.
THEY ARE BETTER THAN STOCK (All that needs to be said for $140)
Better in rain, dark, trails...etc. Is there better out there....yes. Is there better for the price...I doubt it.

Ordered mine yesterday at lunch. They should arrive today. I only live 30 min from their business and thought about just going up there.

How's the glare compared to PNP Hid kits? I use to have 4300k hid bulbs and they created alot of glare. I lowered my headlights significantly to avoid blinding oncoming traffic, but that reduced distance brightness at night.

I drove through the remnants of that hurricane on my way to work at 4am. The lights worked fine but they do “wash out” pretty badly when another light source comes into view. Might just be my eyes in my old age. They are still much better than stock and they really light up signs and reflectors well.

I ordered mine last week. They shipped out promptly but all I received was 4 of the adapter plugs. I called them the next day and they said it was an internal glitch and the headlights are actually on back order. I have dealt with this company in the past and believe they have great customer service. This is just a little hick up. I emailed them today asking when they expect to receive this shipment of bulbs. Hopefully soon. Anyways, I will get some before and after shots now that it gets dark so early.
Ready to get rid of these crappy stock bulbs.

I ordered some the other day, but nowhere did I see anything about an adapter. I would think it would have been mentioned in the reviews I've seen, this thread is the first I read about it. I hope they come with the lights or even better the lights have the correct plugs on them.

The adapter is not necessary at all. It is an H11 to 9006 adapter. When I was on the phone with them and asked why they provide it, their response was "so it can be plugged into a relay hardness". They sell these relay harnesses, but the adapter plug comes with the light at no extra charge. I have 4 laying around if anyone needs them.

Mine were delivered yesterday, had the adapters with it. So, whether I need them or not I got 'em. lol Haven't even had time to open the box yet though.

Ordered from TRS? I had the same thing happen to me, got 4 adapters too instead of headlights. I called them and they fixed it, then it was changed to backorder. I called a couple days ago again to get an update, guy said they were suppose to get them either today or Monday and would ship them out when they got them.

Yes, I ordered these from TRS. They said there was a weird glitch in their system that caused them to have incorrect shipping documents, which caused us to receive the incorrect items. Hopefully we will have these early next week.

Thanks to the OP for starting this thread. I just placed an order for the 2strokes.
I previously had a 2017 tacoma with similarly poor projector low beams....was running 35w xenon depot HIDs in that truck. I pulled the kit out knowing that it could be reused in the 4runner, but I just don’t want to drill the dust caps.....and I didn’t want to mess with aiming the lights down. I would periodically get flashed by oncoming drivers when cresting hills in the Tacoma....and the lights on the 4runner seem to be aimed up even higher than that of the truck.
So I’m going to give these Morimotos a try. Can’t be any worse than stock.....good grief.

Yesterday was the first time I’ve driven in the pouring rain late at night with the new lights. I was on the road for 2 hours, and all I can tell you is that the visibility was much better than stock.

I just bit the bullet and ordered these. I do like the fact that they are PNP and everything will fit behind the dust cap. My only gripe is that they need a fan for cooling and that may affect the lifespan of the bulb overall since it has moving parts.
For anyone that is interested - eBay is running a 25% off coupon (max $25 off) when you are paying with credit card and NOT paypal. The code is PAYWCARD. I found two sellers selling the H11 kit for $120 at the moment and I paid $95 shipped.
