Good price for a 17 off-road premium with kdss?
It has around 35k miles and is from a dealership. They want $35k. What do you all think would be a good price? Currently emailing back and forth
Edit: it has leather and a sunroof

I paid $38,500 for a 2018 TRD Off Road Premium with KDSS and Moonroof. Just for reference.

I'd stick with new unless you can get them down given that some are getting theirs for 38k. Make sure it hasn't been off road a lot too, although that's a lot of miles for a 17 so probably a lot of highway. If it still has the factory tires you will need new ones. So factor that in, probably -$1000.

35k miles isn't many, your only concern is the condition of the vehicle. You aren't going to get much discount for a recent, low mileage 4R, so you will just need to find a vehicle and price you like.

At that price youre better off buying new. At least youll know the condition of the rig. Just like TUC4R said i bought a 2018 for just about the same price

Pass on it, wait a couple of months (end year) and buy new.

+1 voting for buying new over used. I bought a new '18 ORP w/ moonroof and tube steps (no KDSS) for $36,500, and I know exactly where my miles are coming from. I've always adamantly been against buying brand new cars, but when it comes to a 4runner (unless you're buying an older one), you're better off buying new. Plus then you have a full 3 year bumper-bumper warranty and the satisfaction of knowing you're the only person who's driven the car.

Reason: Running boards not = to tube steps

only the limited has leather. The off road premium has softex.
Hold his feet to the fire for that

That type of dealer pricing is exactly how I ended up in a new 4Runner... another vote for PASS
Don't even bother haggling, you will get more movement from a brick wall. Their response will be something along the lines of: "If you won't pay it, then someone else will."
My biggest regret is I didn't consider the used GX market... considering we bought a fully loaded Limited, I could have bought an amazing used GX for less.
