Does the Total Chaos Long travel kit work with Icon Vehicle dynamics secondary shock system or do you need to purchase Total Chaos Shock hoop system?

The geometry is going to be different. Customers will need to purchase TOTAL CHAOS Secondary Shock Hoops when running dual shocks with our Long Travel.

Good question - a Long Travel System will not work with KDSS.

TOTAL CHAOS
TOTAL CHAOS FABRICATION
I bought my KDSS trail knowing this and with a plan. Knowing it would inevitably end up my daily for a few years I wanted KDSS. Then my plan was as soon as my EX warranty ends in 7-8 years I would rip the KDSS out and go LT.

So far I am happy going this route as 85% of what my 4R does is highway etc... Which will change once I pick up a new daily in 2-3 years after paying off the 4R.

Do you guys do layaway?

Great to see this thread and I hope it gets a little more traffic!

I have a 2016 4Runner with your factory length uppers and LCA’s and have been impressed... make that really impressed with the build when pulling the suspension apart (just to clean things up - no noticeable wear or play to be found) and with the travel offroad.

I am toying with another 150 series build and wanted to get your thoughts on 1) steering rack upgrade options 2) feedback from anyone at the shop or a customer who has engineered a font sway bar setup to go long travel and 3) options for the front differential if you are going to have a fairly heavy setup (35’s, beadlocks, and a 1UR-FE).

I wish there were stock options within your company with the amount of replacement parts I've bought over the years. You guys are definitely eating good thanks to me LOL.

Older pictures of it in my build thread. These are some of the more recent photos.

there is a +2 system in the works that will retain KDSS. I emailed them last week and they told me it is in development. the +3.5 system requires it to be removed

after an email to TC last week, a +2 LT system is in the works that keeps the KDSS

Just picked up a new sway bar from TC yesterday, give me a little time and I’ll get some feedback to post up on here. 2014 4Runner, TC +2” race kit with triple bypass, also the truck in the OP

I've got the +2 racing LT kit with King adjusters. Before going with secondary bypasses, I'm wanting to get the URD Supercharger square. This should be fun

Please clarify

Swaybar? Did they make one?

I've been hoping for 2 years now.

Yes, they have made one. Should be released very soon now. Two prototypes have been on TC company trucks for testing. I believe I have the first production model on a 4Runner. 4Runner specific mounting hardware is being finalized now.

Side note: I started asking for one 5 years ago, maybe my persistence paid off lol
