My 2016 Trail at 85,000 Miles.
Just posted up my 2016 Trail up on CL. Looking to get into a 2019 TRD ORP with KDSS. Let’s reminisce about the last almost 3yrs.
As it sits today

Turn As Tail Mod was by far the best $100 I spent, ever.

Good Gravy man! 85,000 on a '16????
I thought I was bad putting 25,000 on a vehicle one year, but you win.
Nice truck!

What is the least expected issue or hassle you may have ran into in so many miles? If any..

High Mileage for Life!
@ Ryan1975
My man haha. Bought my, at that time, brand new '16 TE during Memorial Day Weekend 2017. Closing in 49K miles. Nice to see others putting decent miles on a vehicle that most would avoid. Looking forward to seeing pics of the new Runner.

Hi Brother.
I'd tell you that the 4Runner is this weird truck. I've had 3 brand new 4Runners since 2008 and I am looking for my 4th...and what really strikes me as an avid social media participant in all sorts of groups and families is that I've had two warranty repairs. That's two warranty repairs on three vehicles over 10yrs and 200k miles.
My 2008 4Runner got a new stereo because my ex-gf refused to knock the snow off her boots in Upstate NY.
My 2016 4Runner, I petitioned Toyota in August to repair / replace my drivers seatbelt recepticle after 75k miles. They agreed to the $200 repair. Thank you
@ toyota
.
So that's it...three trucks, three warranty repairs. I'd say that's a win, but I'd also share with you that I'm part of of a lot of facebook groups for many vehicles.
I started a venture last year to catalogue license plates so I joined a lot of groups to try and spread a hashtaging methodology. In that time I learned something pretty profound - that many car lines have weird fatal failures. Search youtube for Chevrolet Colorado Engine Failure. What comes up? Search the same for 4Runner and you won't find a single 5th Gen engine failure. I'm not saying other car lines are unreliable, but what I am saying is that 10yrs on this forum, I've never heard of a major failure on a 4Runner.

Bought new in 12/19/15 from Toyota Dallas - moved home to Colorado 12 days later.
Many many back and forth trips to Copperas Cove over the next year and a half as I convinced my wife to move with me and as we dealt with her impending loss of her father. Add in an 80mi commute to Denver and here we sit.

You don't sound like an impulse buyer, and seems you didn't have issues with your current car. And 19' model is for most purposes is identical with yours. Between 80,000 miles to 150,000 miles is tend to be the sweet spot for most Toyotas, not much maintenance and much less depreciation. So what could be the reason you are selling? Just curiosity.

I got 92500 on my 16 SR5 Premium. Just had to replace the brakes this week. No issues what so ever.

One year and 1 week into ownership of my 2017 TRDOR and I have 37K miles. I bought it with the hope of getting 300K worry free miles out of it so it's nice to hear some of the "high mileage" trucks with no issues.
