42" Light Bar wire

Cali,
Odd question...Is the wire that's attached to the 42 inch light bar, long enough to be tucked in the molding of the front windshield? I saw video of the 42" bar installed on a Prinsu roof rack, and it appeared the plastic connector only went down a 3/4 of the way down the front windshield.

Do I need to splice the wires to the wiring harness to make it conceal in the windshield molding? Or is it long enough to be tucked under the hood?

TIA.

Hello!

It is not long enough to go into the engine bay. You must splice and reconnect the wires. From that, you can run it down the side of the windshield

2014-2020 4Runner Led Light Bars (CaliRaisedLed) | Toyota 4Runner Forum [4Runners.com]

Cali Raised LED is thrilled to offer this universal 3.5" 20W LED pod. (The lens is clear, the light is Amber.) The diecast aluminum housing, PMMA lenses, and IP rating of 67 mean it’s durable enough to handle anything Mother Nature might throw at you. The high-intensity CREE LEDs put out a massive amount of light, allowing you to ignite the night with confidence.
