Anyone have more photos of the CBI gas skid?
I want to pick up a gas skid. I can see a lot on the forums around CBI and some on C4, but nothing on CBI. It appears to have really good coverage from the one shot in this thread, but the CBI website is a single photo from the bottom, and it's hard to tell how it is mounted and how well it will guard the front of the tank from that one SwellRunner shot.

Yea I believe they are still working on the website issues, but you can ask them questions on fb and they are very responsive. I have their front skid. Although I haven’t installed it since I am waiting on the next oil change to do it.

another to add to the list, Mobtown Offroad... Steel or Aluminum; IFS, Trans, and Transfer case skids... I've got a full set of Aluminum skids on order to go with a set of sliders from them (also on order)

Agreed...nothing wrong with the Aluminum trd offering. Do you know if it has access panels for oil filter and plug? Or do you have to remove it before servicing?

+1 I agree, although the website could use some work they are very quick to respond on Facebook and answer any questions you have. I've spoke with them a few times and so far the customer service has been top notch.

I bought the regular one since I was advised I’ll probably only need the wide one if I plan to rock crawl. I think it’s very well made, it’s solid and heavy for sure. I can comment more once I install it next since I’m getting close to changing the oil. Overall, I’ve had great experience with LFD.

thx man.
the other thing with LFD is that they don't offer a transmission and transfer case plates, so you cannot build off the same brand.

No problem. Not yet, but I believe they're working on trans and gas tank skids.

Was just looking at their skid, the website leaves a bit to be desired but if service and response is still there I don't mind...can't beat $189 for a powder-coated full skid I don't think? Did you get around to install yet, also did new skid come with new bolts was wondering about that? thanks

That's exactly why I went with them cause of their customer service and affordability. It comes with new bolts, and no I have not gotten a chance to, but I plan to do it the weekend after Christmas. I'll post again once it's installed.

I'll sell you the old one I have
Unless you are rock crawling a lot, the rear axle is pretty tough.
