Didn't see this posted anywhere. Hopefully the price of the Bilstein Kit will drop since they'll be making so much on this kit

Yikes...that’s a lot of coin for a factory suspension. Wonder how it rides/performs as compared to the outgoing Bilsteins

FJ Bilstein kit was cleared out at $580-$600 so I assume the 4Runner kit will be clearance out for the same but that won't be for another 3-4 years.

I was told the dealerships wouldn’t sell them since it’s a 2019 TRD Pro privilege.

That's what they said about the Bilsteins for the Pro when it first came out. Just give it time.

Dumb question....whats the advantage of the new Fox set up over the original TRD set up with the Bilsteins? Additionally, are there any other suspension differences between the 2019s and the earlier TRD Pros?
Thanks.

LOL They can keep that privilege at that price, you can buy a full set of King/Fox/Icon/OME/Radflo/ect/ect/ect for the same money.

The Fox system is an internal bypass design, in addition to being a larger diameter coilover on the front.

TRD PRO Fox suspension
I was able to find a fairly new set (about 800 miles of use) on the bay for my TRDOR. Front and rear coilovers/shocks. Fair price. Every since I installed them I have noticed the truck a bit stiffer, but I thought this was expected as the TRDOR had stock shocks. Took it for a road trip this weekend and I started to think there is something wrong with the truck, tires, or the install. Maybe the suspension itself, but I inspected it when I got it and everything looked good. The technician at the dealer told me the same thing.
I am not sure if this is normal due to the new Foxs having the internal bypass zones and all that. What are the common mistakes when installing new shocks? Don't know where to start looking for a solution to this problem.

Had a 2017 Off Road. Loved it until i had to make a panic stop! I thought i was going thru the windshield! I got a 2019 TRD Pro and i have to say it rides much smoother than i thought it would and i purposely did a panic stop and no nose dive! I assume its the shocks and spring set up.
