Sharing the links again based on multiple DMs requesting them.

I do like the plastidip letters. Did you do it before or after install?

I rattle canned them matte black before installing. Needed it to match my scheme. The Chinese Special TRD Grille... on the cheap!

91324 Do you happen to know if the diamond shaped openings on this Chinese upper grille are basically the exact same dimensions as the opening on OE upper Pro grille? I'm asking because I want to be able to use my Yota LED's that have the metal mounting brackets if I purchase this grille. Thanks

If I understand your question, yes I do believe that the diamond shaped LED lights from CarTrim fit into the diamond shape cutouts on the upper grill without any issue.

Exactly. Lots of water and maybe 800 or 1000.

Use SEM Trim Black. Clear coat probably wouldn't look too good IMHO.

Thumbs up

Honesty all these worries about the garnish piece fading are excessive IMO. If it fades it fades and you just paint. But if you paint it first with a few coats it will last a pretty long time. And then if it fades, paint it again or with how cheap they are buy another in a few years. 👍

Just installed this grill on my Limited. To make the grille fit correctly I had to trip the bottom of the grille with my Dremel. I didn't want to fit correctly the first time around as the tap did no hold.

I added new tape and zipped tied the grill for 10 min or so. It is holding nice and strong now. Really happy of the new look.

Another tip you may have to heat the new garnish piece so it becomes more flexible and fits easily / properly.
