The Pro grill is no different from any other grill until they add the overlay (except the Limited, which has a chrome strip on that spot).
Sorry that this undercuts the TSO grill by quite a bit, as I think TSO was a great American-made stopgap until this arrived. It was a great service to the guys on this board to make it available, but I'll bet he saw this coming.

I don't think so. Even TSO admits that their vacuum-formed PET part is not as sturdy as injection molded ABS (like factory). He said this would really only be an issue if you were trying to remove it after installation (it will break). Injection molding parts only makes sense if you know you can sell hundreds or thousands of parts and can amortize the cost of the molds. TSO's solution was more boutique and still required the upper honeycomb section from Toyota.
It was only a matter of time before this got reverse-manufactured in China. Hell, I'd be super surprised if the original Toyota vendor for the official Pro grill pieces isn't Chinese too. They might even be from the same mold.
