Still looking for a stock grill insert. If you have your old upper grill insert and you don't need it, please let me know how much you'd charge to ship it to Los Angeles area. Thanks!

I ordered mine with black letters and it was at my door in 3 days. Bonus: they included the silver letters too.

Does anyone have experience using some kind of plastic restorer periodically instead of painting the cover from the outset? My letters are already on, and I can't decide if I should pry them off, paint the cover, and re-set the letters or just install it as is and worry about fade later.
Also, those who painted the cover: did you also paint the mesh portions to get a color match? Thanks!

I actually need one too. Have you asked cartrim if they'd sell you one?

Not likely as it comes in 99% of 4Runners already, and not too many Pro owners would want a stock grill. I'm just trying to see if anyone wants to get rid of theirs, it would save me a trip to the junkyard and digging it out.

it's really not that hard, the link below from Trail4R shows it all step by step.
Once you remove the bumper covers, there's indents on the backside that show where you need to cut the slots for the clips. A little scary at first, but by the time you do all 27 cuts, no worries!

Hey 91324, Any updates on possible new products e.g. front/rear TRD lower valences and the other mystery piece you've mentioned a few times?
I just received my grill (didn't use the coupon code, totally missed that was an option)! I can't wait to put it on!
Thanks,
Brian

Hey Brian,
Sorry you missed out on the coupon. Shoot me a DM the next time you’re looking to order and I’ll get you one.
As far as I know, there are no plans for them to make a lower front or rear valance. Unfortunately, they scrapped the idea of mine they were working on which was related to a Pro skid with cutouts for the oil plug and filter as well as extending it to protect more of the bottom of the rig. Not sure what issue they ran into but development of that has been stopped. I was looking forward to that since oil changes are a PITA on these rigs. Protecting more of the undercarriage would have been a bonus.

I have had mine for almost a year now and never painted it. However, I was using my detailer spray on it, 303 Protectant, in the beginning for approx 6 months. I have since switched to using the spray wax on it that I use on the rest of the truck. It still looks good with no issues.
