We're not spending a ton of time on here right now.

We are trying to answer all emails/messages, but we get a lot and prioritize answering current order and tech support related messages first, so if it wasn't one of those categories we may have skipped it and not gotten back to it.

Just ordered a set of LFD crossbars for my oem rails. I got the stainless for the corrosion resistance. Heard they had an aluminum version but only saw steel or stainless offered on the website.

I just ordered a full set in stainless too. Got tired of messing around with Yakima plastic mounts on the standard aero cross-bars.

New member here but been lurking for a while. Decided to go with LFD Crossbars after experiencing TNUTZ's lack-luster customer service. I hate bashing small businesses so I won't go into much detail here, but their lack of communication has been frustrating. I will chalk it up to supply-chain delays.

That being said, LFD went above and beyond my expectations. I utilized their "Contact Us" inquiry submission. Within 5 minutes of submitting my question they responded. I explained my situation and the need for an immediate solution, and they obliged. Before the day's end, they had a crossbar bundle in transit, 2-day FedEx, just in time for the long weekend.

Thanks again LFD!

LFD posted a while ago saying that they had stopped using aluminum for essentially everything and continuing with the two steel options only

Yeah, and for crossbars the stainless steel weighs only a little bit more than aluminum. This reminds me, I have to get some crossbars.

Just ordered a mixture of wide/thin and faring crossbars from LFD. Very good CS experience thus far.

Question: can someone provide me the mounting surface height for bars mounted to standard OG (non-TRD) rack? I'm looking a measurement like "3.5" from the deck of the roof to the top mounting surface" - basically the height where an accessory would actually rest it's weight.

Would you mind sharing your planned crossbar configuration? I was thinking of something similar after LFD recommended the narrow crossbar with the integrated fairing over the wide crossbar with the bolt on fairing.
