Thanks. I can't tell how far back the skid goes. Does it end right after the oil drain hole or does it continue further back? There appears to be another drain hole, maybe for the trans?
Can the vehicle be lifted by the skid?
Does the skid have any reinforcing on the inner side?

It goes back to where the second stock skid ends, right where all other transmission skids begin. Its compatible with most other brand skids from what we've seen.
We lift our vehicles with the skids all the time!
There are two gussets at the main bend

Here is the big question. Does the wide skid plate prevent the front valance from getting blown off when driving through deep water? I'm not the only one that this has happened to. Not that I would replace my current skid plate because of the cost, but for new buyers this might be a benefit.

Probably doesnt make any difference there, the skid ends at the same place most other front skids do, which is still below the front bumper.

We'll have about four versions of the high clearance bumper - full replacement like you see in the photos here, and then ones that cut the bumper right below the emblem garnish of the grille for everyone who wants to keep the TRD garnish or the Toyota emblems, and those "cut" versions will have options for headlight hoops as well.
Hopefully they'll be available starting in a few months. We're also working on Hybrid bumpers, including options for the early 5th Gens. They need some love too!
On the roof rack front, we've just increased stock and reorder quantities as well for all our crossbars and roof racks to try to decrease lead times on those. We're finishing up testing on aluminum side rail variants for roof racks too.

I've said it before, and no offense to any others, but it tickles me pink to see an east coast crew cranking up the works for armor and such...and only about 4 hours away!
The 'bark on the bumper' FB post was hilarious.
I'm topless at the moment but should the need arise I'm coming to you guys. In the meantime, I'm holding out for sliders...
;-)

Are there any pics of people mounting rotopax to these? I know it's probably basic but I want to make sure it's easy before I go out and buy the crossbars or the rotopax.

Yup, you can bolt a rotopax mount to the crossbar with two of the four bolts on the rotopax mount base, or you can use our accessory plate (or Rotopax's accessory plate) to have a good solid mount.

I haven't done a lot of research and I'm sorry if these questions have been answered here but I am interested in the full roof rack and I'm concerned with weight since it is all steel.
How come the full rack doesn't come with some aluminum cross bars like the shorter racks do?
Is it possible to get aluminum cross bars on the full rack? and finally...
Are you guys considering making an all aluminum rack soon?
Thanks!

Not to step on LFD's toes, but as an owner of their full steel rack, let me try to answer some questions... I installed the full steel rack solo, with no issues at all. There is definitely some heft to it, more so than stock, but not crazy.
There is a full length aluminum rack in the works, I believe this is close to release.

The full steel only weighs about 80 pounds, its really not that significant. Other tube racks weigh the same or more.
We do now have an aluminum version up on the website, but that still weighs about 50 pounds.

Yep, running about a three to four week lead time at the moment.

That is awesome. Exactly what I want to do with mine.
And regarding the aluminum, 30 lbs weight savings is still 30 lbs. It all adds up. Doesn't ever rust either.
