They all fit inside the housing, and you don't have to modify the dust cap.

Guys, I just got my 2020 TRD. Does the low beams and high beams use the same style bulb? H11?? So many different types, kind of lost here.

I don't think so.. Low beams are H11, and High beams are 9005.. they look similar but I think the tabs are different.

Can’t seem to get the drivers side to match passengers. Beam pattern looks the same, but the hot points in the 2 headlights are about 1.5-2inch different. Driver side is lower. Using Nineo II’s

It’s supposed to look like. The driver side beam will always be lower than the passenger’s so your not blinding incoming traffic...

I agree with some other forum members - this bulb seem to match the Supernova V4's at a third of the price.
Installation in my 4Runner's was a bit tight, the cable and LED driver are a little larger than some other bulbs. I just took some time to try a few different ways of mounting and installing the LED driver behind the headlight housings dust cover. I found the best way to get everything to fit, was to connect the factory wiring to the LED driver and get it installed with the drivers base flat against the bulbs solid aluminum mounting block, then install the bulb and connect it to the driver.
I also decided to keep halogen's in the high beams because of the DRL flickering issue, I did replace the stock 9005's with 100W temperature matched bulbs that are super white and come close to the LED's.
Upgraded the fog lights with a inexpensive Alla Lighting 2800lm LED Fog Lights Bulbs set that seems to work well. I choose these because of the internal driver - time will tell if they hold up.
All in I am very happy with the results - far improvement over stock.

Hi, which 9005 bulbs did you go with?
Are they on the whitish side when DRL is on?

Bulbs I've Tried
Thanks. Will try the Nineo or Katanas.
Have a 2019 ORP and I have a similar issue getting the JDM ASTAR NX and Alla Lighting TS-CR bulbs to fit in the passenger low beam. I think the problem is with heat sink does and the housing. Passenger side prevents me from turning the bulb in place.
The Alla is completely loose on both drive and passenger side, so the light is scattered on the projectors.
The JDM ASTAR fits on the driver side, but light is scattered on the passenger side because I cannot get it in the vertical position.
I did get the Alla Lighting Switchbacks that lets me toggle between amber and super white. They seem to provide more light than my low beams.

dont waste your time with the nineos, the driver is separate and huge and wont fit in the housing if you want to use the dustcaps. I just got the "torchbeam" brand from amazon, no external driver and dust cap pops back on.

Nineo is tight fit but doable. I'm on second set. The first died after two years of daily driving.
