Very interesting... excited to see how these look and function despite my plans to do a proper bi-xenon retrofit in the spring.
I'm not 100% sure I trust aftermarket LEDs headlights yet if you can't physically remove a bulb. If an HID bulb fails, you just swap it out like a normal bulb. If an LED assembly fails, it becomes a relative headache.

That was my initial issue as well...and I don't think you can turn the DRL's off with the lighting stalk like you can with factory

I stuck a set of cheap Amazon H11 LED bulbs I had laying in the garage into my factory housing and I was amazed at the difference. Will probably upgrade to the Morimoto 2.0 LEDs later, if one of these go out. Just added to Morimoto XB fog lights yesterday and they are nice as well.

I recently bought a set of IS250 projectors that I was going to use for a retrofit. These LED housings look really nice and now I'm going to wait and see how they turn out. I'm curious what the beam pattern/throw is on them compared to an HID retrofit considering there's dual low beams.

Did anyone else click into this thread because of the suggested threads function of the website.
Here is what T4R suggested for me to click. Projector headlights and thong ass.

I read that LED bulbs don't throw out light very well in projector housings - is that not the case in your opinion? I like the LED look but held off for this reason. Considered HID's but don't really want to drill a hole in the dust cover.

Yeah, he also said that the light output is crap and if he had it to do over again he would have went for a real projector

While they may not be perfect they are 100%++ better then stock. I have no doubt that a quality set of bulbs like the Morimotos would be even better. These I had just just sitting in the garage from another car that I never used so I threw them in there just to see. I didn't want to deal with wiring and drilling of hids of I didn't have to. I'm very happy with them.
