Cargo cover for sliding tray?

So I think I need some options. I have the sliding cargo tray in my 2019 4Runner. I have the OEM tray cover. It fits, but it doesn’t fit great. It comes off all the time, when something is placed on it. Just the other day I was driving with the windows down, and I see something flying around in my cargo area. The wind had blown it loose. So what are the “best fitting” cargo liners out there for the sliding rear tray/back area?

is something hitting it? i think yours may be faulty if it's coming loose on it's own

i miss my cargo cover, my fridge was too tall so i made my own. what i did was get a black sheet and cut to size. in the front i used grommets to attach the sheet to the backseat headrests and used paracord to make loops so in the back it attached to the hooks on the side. i also sewed in some heavy canvas straps on the perimeter to give it a little weight so it wouldn't flutter in the wind. i'd put up a picture but i don't use it anymore, i use a bungee net instead now that goes all the way to the front seats.

I'm not sure if this is what you are looking for, but these are really common. I installed this about four days after buying my car. Looks OEM. Has proven to be dog proof and very easy to clean.

Canvasback Liner

Canvasback Liner
He's talking about the lid that rolls up when not in use, not a floor liner

I picked up a roll or two of industrial strength 15lb hold Velcro at Home Depot and used this to keep the rubber cover from coming off my sliding tray. I stuck a few heavy items on the cover/tray where the tape was applied overnight.

Has held up well so far through this mild PNW winter and it hasn't budged/lifted up yet.

Canvasback. Got it, works great. You can even ask them to use colored threading. I got mine to match my red stitching on the factory seats. Got the set that fits the entire bottom of the rear cargo area and the back of the rear seats. If you have a dog you can get covers for the sides too. Good product and a sponsor here.

I hated the rubber cover over my sliding rear cargo tray that came with the vehicle.

I’m looking for a better version of this.....I have the Toyota OEM version. I’d like to find one that doesn’t come undone with any kind of load on top of it, or go flying up when I’m driving with the windows down 😂

two-sided velcro, problem solved The OEM one works great after I added 3 strips. Costs $2 instead of $200 to replace it

True....I’ll probably end up going that route. It would certainly be cheaper.

i would just buy lots of industrial velcro and velcro the liner down instead of buying a new one.
