Thanks guys. I did find the height on the Toyota website but they state it without the rack.
Tell the hotel you don't fit and need some VIP parking.

For what it's worth, my 2019 TRD Pro baaaarely fit in the SFO domestic parking garage but with only about a nanometer to spare. It was harrowing. Not a good idea in retrospect.

I drove toward the entrance at about 0.1mph while craning my neck up through the moon roof (oh...that's what it's for) to watch the top of the rack versus the banged-up immovable metal sign that you have to pass under. It juuuust cleared it. And if I recall correctly there is a speed bump right there.

According to the SFO website, the vertical clearance for the Domestic Garage is 6’ 6” (for both International Parking Garages A and G the clearance is 8’ 2”.) So, technically I should not have made it.

I guess keep a compressor in the car?

You should stay out of the rain, then, as you will have a bunch of holes in the roof of your truck if they just remove the roof rack ;-)

i measured my 19 voodoo as soon it arrived before parking in my garage. the top of basket rack was 77inches from the ground.

not sure how people are getting 79.5 inches.

t correct. 77 inches is the height.

not sure how you measured the height. i parked my 19 Pro on a flat ground and put a long symmetric straight cylinder pipe on top of the basket roof rack (long enough for the ends stick out wider than the width of the runner) at its tallest point, and measure the bottom of the cylinder from the ground. it measures 77 inches.

yes. I found the original thread that said 79.5 and added a comment to correct it. 77 inches is the correct measurement.

I also found someone on the FB forum saying 79.5 because the person learned 79.5 from t4r.org post you mentioned.

Thanks.
Turns out there's a web page, where Toyota gives complete specs for 2019 4Runner TRD Pro

I asked my stealership if they could remove the ORM rack for me before I take delivery and they refused. They said they could not deliver a new vehicle that will have exposed holes in the roof. When asked for a max height measurement they told me to allow 80" max.

It doesn't seem correct, does it?

That's definitely not right.

And yet, that's Toyota's own published information. I wonder if anybody with a Pro, or who has a friendly dealer, might accurately measure the height of the Pro and the additional height of the rack. Everything I've read here, so far, seem to be speculations.

You're right

I called Toyota ... the online product sheet is misleading ... the heights given are without the rails or rack. And, she couldn't actually find anyone, even in engineering, who has actually bothered to measure it. Based on what's been shared here, 77 inches seems right.
