I have a 2015 Trail, when shifting from park to reverse, it feel hard to move the shifter, has around 8000 miles on it. Is this normal?

In no way should it feel "hard" to move the shifter. Something is binding up. I clunk or something might be normal but physical friction no.

To me it feel like when you park on a hill and shift into gear.

Check your neutral safety switch. It may be going bad.

I was going to ask about this. Have you tried setting the parking brake before putting it in Park? This can sometimes free any bind the trans may get in the linkage.

Seems if I push harder on the brake peddle it’s shifts from park easier. Dose the lock out switch have any adjustments?
