True, you have to be a little creative with Amazon and a roll of 14ga wire...
That said, I have had mine installed, with no light yet, for close to two months and no one has said a word.
A little creativity is a small price to pay for a fantastic product. Solidly built, looks good, allows some flexibility with accessories...I use mine with a 4gallon Roto Pax. It is the alternative answer I was looking for to a full aftermarket bumper. No regrets and highly recommend!!

I have this wired to an adapter that connects to the trailer plug. Comes off easy when I remove the Ultraswing.
There are also license plate bolts that have LEDs. Seen other people use this method.

Thanks. My comment was not specific to this brand. I don't think any of the brands cover that.
Just seems that with as much as they charge, that should be accounted for. Might look into the LED bolts and order this.

Can you post the details on the adapter that fits the trailer plug?

Take this, Amazon.com: Wesbar 787268 Trailer End Connector Wire: Automotive, use the only 2 required wires (White and Brown) and then put whatever connector you want between that and the license plate lights to make it easy to disconnect. Works great. Maybe down the road I pull panels and wire something up but while deciding if I like the RIGd setup this has been working great.

I am using Eibach's Load Leveler system. It is adjustable, and an amazing bit of design work.
I am currently running the 250 lb spring set, but after adding the UltraSwing, 4 gallon Rotopax, and tire and wheel combo, along with everything we need for a trip, I will be changing to the 400 or 500 "pounds over stock" springs.
The steel Strongbox drawer set is 115 pounds empty. The UltraSwing is about 68 pounds, tire and wheel about 75 pounds and the Rotopax about 30.
That's just under 300 lbs and I haven't added any "road trip stuff" to the totals.
That's mine...of course YMMV.

Ive been rolling around with the ultraswing with no light on my plate for almost 6+ months now with being tailed by cops multiple times on the road (even at night); even seen a couple looking down at their computer appearing that theyre just running plates to find someone to pull over for quota needs... despite that never pulled over. had even a couple of cops just signaling me to roll my window down for them to compliment the truck. honestly as long as you're not being stupid on the road and your tags are up to date i highly doubt you'd be pulled over JUST for that

I like the idea, but it still just seems expensive for what it is.

Old Man Emu “Heavy” for 440lb additional weight.
Besides the swing I have fridge, plywood floor, some tools and the tent. It sits pretty close to factory rake now fully loaded to camp.
