Instagram... @rcr4wd

They do fender shields that have been posted in here before, ladders, bumpers. They look very similar to Ecotechne out of South America, which is probably why the cost is lower...cheaper production costs.

I just wanted to let everyone on this thread that I'm currently working with Raul to bring a Group Buy to T4R for his products. Their full length roof racks will be the main focal point of this GB. You will have the option for inner fender shields, engine skids, shock skids, LCA skids, engine tray accessory mount, and rear diff skids. I can ask about including the ladder, and bumpers as well.

Since I came across this thread, and notice some interest in the roof rack. I just thought I'd put a bug in your ear about the potential GB.

Mike

Venezuelan company, they sell step bars they market as "sliders" that mount to the body, they pretty much copy other's designs (like TMT, another Venezualan company who is probably the same company, wouldn't surprise me).

They quoted me $X for their fender shields. I sent them a message back a few weeks later and said basically I was ready to order them and they doubled the price on me. I showed them their original quote in texts they sent me on IG and they just quit talking to me. Who does that?

Good luck if you buy from them, seem less than honest and sub par quality IMO.

This guy has the juicy juice.

IMO. With everything going on down there I would be really hesitant to send money to any distributor. When people get desperate they do shitty things. No disrespect to the people. I would say the same thing if that BS they are dealing with was going down in the US or Canada.

I cant speak about this company specifically, but I used ecotechne with next to no issues. The only issue was dhl and fedex shipping out of the country.

For a full length rack shipped to the US is $669 for the rack, $180 for shipping, and $849 total. The rack would come with 5 crossbars, and wind deflector. Your powder coat options are satin, matt, textured or gloss black. You can choose the wind deflector color between red, black, white or silver. If I decided to pull the trigger on putting together a Group Buy there would be nice discounts with that.

With 12-23 buyers we'd get 15%, 24-34 we'd get 20%, and 35+ we'd get 30%. I'm not sure if I'm going to make this happen or not. I'm waiting on a couple other places to get back to me before I decide.

Mike

RCR Products

I have RCR Rock Sliders/ Step on my 4Runner and love then very heavy duty and would recommend them to anyone. I also just got the 4Runner winch bumper. It took long than normal due to the revolution it looks great and cant wait to get it on and I will post up pics. Hopefully next weekend weather permitting. If I didnt already have my GOBI I would not hesitate to order his roof rack. He is a great guy and works really hard excellent customer service.

Do they mount to the body? Sure looked like it in their IG post. Just curious in I'm correct. If not I'll retract that from my previous post.

I'm all for innovation and good deals, I just got a bad taste in my mouth from them on IG. You could message them one day and get one price or a bunch of free stuff, then the next day they come up with some other pricing, they just seemed inconsistent and being out of the country that's not the vibe you want as a customer.

I think the fender shields and some other products are great ideas though!

I don't think an engineer had any participation in that design. There's essentially no lateral shear resistance. I'd love to see someone put 1200lb on it and drive around.

You could probably fix the structural problems by adding a few pieces of 8020 rail. I'd ask if they'll sell you just the two side rails. And then buy some pieces of 8020 to make your own cross bars.
