2018- shark fin antennae damage

So not paying attention this morning hit the rear antenna on the gArage door and sent the cover flying. The cover looks almost perfect on the outside but clips broken off on the inside. In looking at the antenna itself other than a gouge on top looks fine but a little bent ( even though it’s plastic). No damage to roof
The weird thing it other than the connection through the home appears to be other ways the cover and rubber seal it. It’s pretty cold (0f) and was some I’ve u see the cover.
So couple questions that I could find answeres online.
One major question is what seals the antenna from the cab? It suppose to go into the 40’s tomorrow and rain so I’m concerned about it leaking into the cabin.
If it’s seals from the inside that’s fine that can just replace the cover and be good

I just now have the exact same problem as you described. We’re you ever able to figure out a solution?

I’ve got an OEM replacement cover on the way, but it looks like part of the base of what is left is not flush to the roof. Which might be a problem later.
