We plan on making locking billet mounts this summer. We just had some milling equipment delivered this week! I ran a RTT on my crossbars only using the included mounts with the tent, worked great. What do you plan on carrying?

Oh fantastic!! I can order the bars now & then the mounts whenever. I plan on mounting a hi lift jack & my maxx traxx on the regular, but a RTT for camp trips only. SOOO stoked on this b/c I did not want to spend the arm and a leg for a full roof rack.

Any chance for some aluminum sliders?
(I know, not really sliders if they are aluminum but Michigan salt is a bigger enemy than rocks here)

Not likely, but we may consider making aluminum Blitz sliders in the future if people are willing to pay for them. The cost of aluminum is very high, they would end up being about $500 more.

Any updates on the 5th gen roof rack?
Do you have an estimated ETA on release timing?

The full-length rack should be released by the end of this week/early next week. There will also be a standard (factory) length which is 2 or 3 weeks out.

Potential idea. Interior gate molle panel.
Similar to:
It might take up some trunk space but I thought I'd be nice to open the gate, then have access to a molle panel where someone can install a medkit, rolled up blanket, flashlight, etc. I'd give users options of trunk storage if they didn't want the rear window molle panels.

We (JCR) make these for the Jeep XJ, TJ, JK, & JL, so this may be something we do in the future.

That's a great idea. Hopefully light enough that it doesn't impact how easy it is to open the liftgate.
