Is the TRD grill swap the easiest bang for your buck 30-minute makeover? (PICS)

I think this looks a million times better than what toyota ships these with. IMO the emblem grill should be on the Limited only.

I got 'the look' from the wife when she came in and I was giving the bumper a bath in the kitchen sink. In my defense it needed a little extra TLC and some magic eraser action to remove some of the marks on it.

i'm not planning to paint the bottom bumper black because I'll be replacing it eventually and I like the way it looks now.

DAMN I LOVE THIS VEHICLE!!

I love the look of this vs the emblem. Your rig looks great. Which grill did you purchase?

Looks great! This is something I keep telling myself I need to do, but end up ordering something else. The one thing I am trying to decide on would be if I wanted the silver Toyota letters or black. I have a black 2021 TRD ORP with the blackout emblems and the black TRD wheels.

I just ordered the parts to do this. Reading through some threads, someone mentioned McGeorge Toyota having the cheapest OEM parts for this swap. After looking around, I found Toyota Parts | OEM Toyota Parts Group | LaGrange Toyota to be cheaper. It was $490 shipped from McGeorge and $440 shipped from Lagrange. I'll post up after I get the parts and do the swap.

oh sorry, i missed your question. no, i got it from cartrimhome (the canadian dude that is pushing the T10 head unit). the stock is from china but many of the items are in stock here so it only takes about a week to get it in.

Not suitable for 2020!!!Free shipping For 2014-2019 Toyota 4Runner 2Piece Front Bumper Grille Replacement PZ327-35053 & PZ323-35056

Very inexpensive. If you get it watch a few youtube videos on the install. You'll get a good feel and by the time it arrives you'll have the installation down to a 30 minute job. Its actually really easy. I spent more time cleaning everything as I went than popping clips out. I got the one with the silver letters.

If you wheel buy a $60 fake one so when you’re winching and a tree saver fails you won’t feel bad when it breaks from a flatlink rocketing back as a projectile. Nothing that some crazy glue won’t fix Is the TRD grill swap the easiest bang for your buck 30-minute makeover? (PICS)

Changed out the grill this afternoon on the ‘22 ORP. Pretty much straight forward.

Am I the only one that prefers the “T” Toyota badge with the strip in the upper grill on the ‘20+ models? We’ll have to see which look holds up best to the test of time twenty years from now.
