SR5 vs TRD Pro Rim Specs

Does anyone know the specs (width, offset, etc.) on SR5 rims and TRD Pro rims?

Thanks in advance

I'm also curious what others have experienced going with TRD Pro wheels on an SR5. I'm wanting to put TRD Pro wheels with 275/70r17 Falken Wildpeaks on my stock 2011.

They are both 17x7

The SR5 are +15mm

The TRD Pro are +4

So the TRD Pro are going to stick out 11mm further from the hub compared to SR5 wheels.

So...flame me if necessary, but does that mean its a straight one to one swap...or do you need spacers and other things to go from SR5'ers to TRD'ers??

that is my first change out when i pay this bad boy off...TRD Pros or TRD ORs

Someone will correct me if I am wrong, but I had my sr5 rims swapped out to the TRD ones last month, and I'm almost certain it was a direct swap.

The bolt pattern is the exact same, and the center bore is the exact same. It is a direct swap, and you can use the OEM lug nuts as well.

Its the same truck.

Offset difference is 11mm, or .43" or about 7/16"...which means the TRD wheel will stick out 7/16" farther than the stock SR5 wheel, or move away from the shock 7/16".

In other words, yes it is a direct swap and the offset difference is minimal.

Offset does more than push the tire out.

I am considering swapping 2019 stock SR5 wheels for the TRDs. Because the offset is different, it's not a perfectly equal swap. The lesser offset on the TRDs does "push" the wheel further outward from the wheel well by a little less than half an inch. But it does more than that, because decreased offset also means increased scrub radius, which means that the tire will have a larger arc of movement through its max steer angles (especially the outer corners of the tread). For those minority reports of people who have gotten rubbing after making such a swap, I wonder if this is the problem.

Has anyone had a confirmed case of tire rubbing with 265/70/17 tires on the TRD wheels? If so, which tires?

Also, has anyone had a confirmed case of non-rubbing with 275/70/17 tires on TRD wheels? How about non-rubbing with 275 tires on the stock wheels?

I can help with this one. I have a 19 SRS Prem 2wd, off the dealer lot stock wheels & tires.
Day 5, back to the dealer for TRD wheel swap, stock tires. No rub
Shortly after, swapped for TRD Pro suspension with Toytec spacer on front only, lift =+2"(ish), basically level.
A cple weeks later, TRD wheels and tire upgrade to BFG KO2/275/70/17. Very minor rub on the front side of the fender liner both left and right. Easy fix, unbolt it, push forward, rebolt. Grind off about 1" of plastic for clearance. No more rub.
Hope that helps alittle.

HWNRUNNER, thanks, very helpful. I might also go 275. When you say grind off some plastic, do you mean plastic from the same liner that was pushed forward, or plastic from fender/flap?

Just a little off the bumper inner lip edge. Its not as bad as it sounds. I applied some tape as a cut guide and used a dremal with a cutting blade, was like butter. Used a grinder to make smooth. Didnt even take off the wheel, just turn in or out to make room. Looks oem, can not tell it didn't come like that.

Bumping an old thread. I put Toyota TRD Pro SEMA wheels on my wife's new 2020 Limited 4Runner with Falken Wildpeak AT3s in P265/70R17 and am getting rubbing in reverse without going full lock.

Removed the mini mud guards from the front wheel wells and I am still getting rubbing. Had these wheels on my wife's 2012 4runner Limited with no rubbing. Not sure what has changed between the 12 and 20 models. Will investigate more and report back. May need the liner mod and/or a trim.
