Extend AC outlet to center console?

Can an AC outlet be added to the center console?

I was going to check with some car audio shops and see if the can do work like that.

Im sure you can but it might be easier to run a dedicated wire from battery to console and install a separate inverter.

how much wattage do you need? if it's less than 120W you could get a 120W inverter with a cigarette plug and use the 12v outlet in the center console.

Otherwise run wires and do what @SlickTRD said.

What are u planing on plugging into it? I can’t think of anything that would need 120v that I leave in my consol. You can always get an extension cord I guess lol.

on the cheap make a connection inside the OEM inverter location on the 110 volt, then run the wires to the center console under the carpet. use a strong power cord to handle any stress ..amps on this is just 1amp very low power ..OEM inverter is with not much ability .

if you need more watts the best way is to setup a relay to power up the higher powered inverter . connect the feed wire to inverter at the battery threw the relay contacts. use the relay control wire on the ignition feed so that you will not kill the battery ..engine on then the high power inverter will run and not kill battery ..place fuse at the battery connection ..

inverters use high current so a very large gauge wire is required . also the inverter will require air circulation .

Something like this would work. It is fan cooled too. Run Power and ground for it and you will be good to go.
