1 inch higher than SR5 and TRD OR and 1.5" higher than TRD OR with KDSS.

As others have said, it is not leather. I was p1$$ed at first but I have come to like the fake leather as it does not let anything soak into it. Gets pretty sweaty in hot weather but so does leather and sweat soaks into leather.

I got the TRD OR because I was going to lift it anyway and I wanted KDSS. If you are going to get a lift anyway it is pointless to get the upgraded Pro suspension. Color to me is really the only reason to get a PRO.

Granted there is a small shitshow in there (as there often is with a trim vs. trim thread) but some other good comments besides.
The responses I got are actually way more relevant to his question.

From what I understand the new Fox suspension available on a 2019 is a significant upgrade over the outgoing 2018 TRD Pro Bilstein suspension. Front and rear are both internal bypass shocks, and I believe the only internal bypass shock made by Fox that is specific to the 4runner. Fox has the Factory series and the Performance series available for the 4runner but neither of these are the internal bypass design.
From a stock Trail the Pro is 1" higher in the front and also has around a 1" wider stance because of the wheels used on it.
If you don't plan to lift the Pro the new Fox suspension would be a big upgrade from what you have now. I don't know about the ride quality but it is definitely a much more capable suspension than what you have now.
I would like to have the Fox shocks on my 2015 Trail because I don't like having a lot of lift on mine.

Read through this thread, especially post 4 by Jetboy.

You can't go wrong with the Trail and you can always turn it into a Pro if you want. Mechanically they are identical with the exception of the coilovers and shocks.
Another thing to consider is Toyota never gives a good interest rate on the Pro lineup. When I bought my Trail in 2015 they were offering 0.9% financing. The rate on the Pro was over 4% I believe. This will add more to the cost of purchasing a Pro over a Trail if you finance. If you pay for it outright then it makes no difference but most people do finance when purchasing a vehicle.

Wait for a 2020 trd off road premium with kdss, dump about 3 grand into a well regarded lift and tires, your still doing better than a Pro. Android auto and Apple with a pushstart too. Nutshell.

Find used Pro suspension, get Vinyl wrap blue, and Katzkin leather. Better deal IMO. Now if you didn't already have the 2016 I'd say jump on it.

This. I just paid off my 2017 ltd and now very tempted to trade it in for an army green pro in this fall but the interest rate of the Pro from Toyota is way too high compared to SR5, TRD Offroad, and LTD,I wonder if my bank would offer better rates than Toyota does on the Pro.

Some banks will definitely re-finance and give you a lower interest rate. I have known a few people to do this. It doesn't have to be your current bank either. You could shop around for a good interest rate.

I have a Pro and it out performs friends in TRD/TRD OR models hands down. I can move through the desert quicker and more comfortably. Mind you I am comparing stock suspension on multiple vehicles. If you plan on radically modifying your 4R, maybe look to a TRD/TRD OR model and save the Pro cost jump. I don't plan on going crazy with this build and I was able to purchase a Pro for MSRP no markup. So, I paid only 3K more than TRD OR Premium. YMMV. Buy what you want and enjoy it regardless of what others think including me.

Just traded my 2017 Off Road for 2019 Pro. No leather it's softex, 1" higher in the front. Rides much smoother than my 2017 and the doors shut with a thud. The 17 doors in front were kind of tin sounding when shut but rears shut like 2019. Gas milage was 19 on Off Road model and so far the Pro is 17 mpg. Don't like sunroof as it is in the way of console controls. Love the looks of the Pro though!
