Regaining lost height after Baja/Sliders

2018 TRD Pro and after adding a ton of weight to my rig, I feel like I've lost an inch or two of overall height. (lift)

What's the easiest way to gain some back? Spacers? Springs? I'd prefer to keep the damn TRD suspension, just looking to gain back what I lost, not lift it into the sky.

Thanks for any advice...

For a baja rack and sliders? No way you lost 1-2" of height. Absolutely no way. That weight is evenly distributed and if anything, the sliders offset the weight of the rack to keep the COG nearly the same. Wouldn't affect height much at all...less than 1/2".

Yes, there is no way you lost that much EXCEPT under the rocker panel.

Did you ever measure your ground clearance at the skid plates new? That's the measurement that matters. What is it now under the front edge?

The sliders really do eat into the rocker panel clearance, which is an excellent 17" stock on a regular TRD. I lost 3" to my Shrock sliders. That's fine even for difficult trails. Very difficult and extreme trails are another story.

Worst case scenario if you keep adding weight, maybe get Dobinsons springs to replace the factory ones. I don't think there are many options for 6112 shocks anyway.

Added Burtman Industries Cornfed UHMW 1.5/1” Pro spacer lift to the factory Pro suspension. Cost me just under $300 for parts, labor and alignment. 275-70-17 KO2’s. I have a set of Shrockworks sliders that I recall are 45 lbs. per side. I would be surprised if the truck lost any height. Forum member Tejas has a TRD Pro with a full rack and sliders with the spacer kit and tires I have. May want to find out what his results were. Even with the factory suspension I would be surprised if you would lose any height over a 1/4”.

Im guessing you were trying to say, has everything been done since the add ons? Are you referring to the sliders and my lift? Please clarify your question. Thanks.

Sure seems like I did... the baja rack weighs a ton, the sliders weigh a ton... the truck is loaded down... why wouldn't that compress the springs?

I parked next to my buddies stock SR5 and we're the same height at the mirrors.

I even have bigger tires on it... so there's something up for sure.

I think I'll try the burtman spacers... seems easy enough.

Can you take some center of wheel to bottom of fender measurements on all four corners? And hopefully someone with a stock pro could chime in with similar measurements. That's really a better way to judge what's going on
If you're not happy with the height you need to re spring it to do it right. Or wait till you have a good idea what you're going to add for additional weight and when to decide what to do.

you lost height because the springs take a set after a few K miles.. then adding some weight will drop it a bit more.

my 2016 runner did this .. front end dropped 1inch ..

On my GM truck this happened but I had torsion bars so I could get it back to the proper height.

since you lost some height you will need a front end alignment ..

It still is very interesting. If you are the same height as an SR5 with a Pro (+0.8) and 33s (+0.5) then you have lost about 1.25" out of just a rack and sliders and some settling. Makes no sense, honestly, unless the Pro springs are softer than regular TRD ones.

What's the Baja Rack, 100lb? What are the sliders? 100-150, 150 max.

So, you are 200-300lb over stock. I am 250 and had not lost more than maybe 0.25" after 15,000 miles with all the settling of springs (maybe they settled 0.25" at most; I think less).
