5th Gen Wet Okole Discussion & Picture Thread
Just installed Wet Okole seat covers in the front. Contemplating ordering some for the back. Has anybody done the backseat with the 40/20/40 split? Curious how it turned out. Thanks.

So, what happens when the seat mounted airbags go off?

The outside edges have an opening approx. 10" in length to allow the airbag to deploy. The material overlaps so the seat stays covered. In the photo it is hidden by the shadow.

Then I think that's pretty awesome. If I lived by the beach I'd be all over them.

looks sharp, FlyNavy. had wet okoles in my old rig and loved them but can't advise re the 5G 40/20/40 rear.
really clever to have that panel on the center console: might keep my dogs from scratching it up too badly.

Kind of a pain in the a$$, especially on the driver's side. The lumbar control makes getting the material between the seat and the plastic panel difficult. Do yourself a favor and raise the seat all the way up if you ever install them.

I can't speak as to the fit on the 4Runner but I installed them in my truck and the rear split seat install isn't that bad. I will mention to you that I can't get a good fit around the arm rests but I don't know if that seat has the rest built in or not, my 4Runner has a 50/50 seat in the back with an arm rest in it just like my truck. Can't get it to push all the way in after I put the covers on.

Ordered direct from the manufacturer. Total came to about $270 with shipping and tax. Kinda steep, but hopefully worth it.

FlyNavy how are the wet okole's holding up? Are you happy with them so far? I am thinking about ordering some.
Also - has anyone else installed these yet? I am hoping to get the black ones with the 4runner logo embroidery as shown in the wet okole 5th gen seat cover gallery.
thanks.

Wet okole is local to me, and I can vouch for the durability. My wife's old Solara had them for years, and as long as you clean and condition them with their solutions, they'll last as long as you own the car.
Also, on my G35, the logo appears to be silk screened and not embroidered. If that makes a difference to you, you may want to ask before you order them. I'm coming up on almost 2 years with them installed, and they look as good as new.
