If it took him 10 months to reply to this thread then that is a sign how he treats his customers.

Spot on there... Took me a hair shy of 10 months to receive my product when the lead time was advertised as 2-3 months.

I don't know, but it reminded me to do some research into seeing what parts are needed to make a DIY version of this.

trim pieces from toyota, 1' led strips from LED Lights, Bulbs & LED Lighting Accessories | superbrightleds.com, and some wiring/connectors

you can silicone in the leds, you can attach them with fishing line, what you do is up to you.

these cost $100 retail in parts, and thats not buying in bulk and buying good quality stuff.

LOL, sounds like another small business trying to survive. He is drop shipping after all. Could've given a longer lead time though.

A lot of online stores are just middle men.

Hell even most local shops.

There's a difference between a shop and someone acting as a middle-man who's drop shipping.

A real shop will have the post-sales support that a middle-man wont. If you have an issue with the product, take it up with the shop. They should be the ones supporting you if your product isn't working as advertised, if it needs to be replaced, etc., etc. The shop can then deal with the manufacturer however they want.

The whole point of being a distributor is because the customer deals with you, not the manufacturer. If you're just in it for some quick cash like most of these online places are, then you middle-man it, drop-ship products, and make the customer go to the manufacturer for support.

So yes, never give money to a middle-man. It's funny because this dude transitioned from building his own crap (or rather not building his own crap if it takes him 10 month to do what I did in a week including shipping), where he should have had the absolute best customer support of anyone, do a middle-man who's drop-shipping where his customer support is still terrible.

tl;dr middle men are bad, shops aren't if they know how to run a business.

10 months to edit an email screenshot... the good thing is your replies and your orders are consistent on delivery times.

Over here with extra 🍿 if anyone needs it while reading the SSO bankruptcy filing and the new owner taking on over 600 back orders? I’ll share.

Things never change with you.

Don't worry man, when you go bankrupt nobody is even going to remember you. Other than this thread to remind us all how tasteless you are.

Your post is a reminder to tell people to avoid AJC products or services.

No they don’t because I will continue to fight those who are so wrong about me and can’t see past your own stupidity. This is another perfect example that shows this company (SSO) was the problem yet you and the OP set out to blame me. They took over 600 orders from people but here one dude posted about me saying I screwed him (which I proved I did not) and I am eternally the bad guy. Stay blind because you apparently don’t follow what success we have going on and the major partnerships that wouldn’t take place if I truly was a bad man. As they say in the south, bless your heart.
